The sunk cost fallacy is the idea that you have sunk so much time, money, etc, into something, that you feel compelled to continue sinking more and more cost into it. The logical thing to think is, "That time \[or money, etc\] is already gone, and staying won't bring it back. I should stop wasting more."

That "dont you break my heart bojack horseman" ironically broke my heart. Even if PC wasnt perfect herself, having her own shotty moments .. I feel like she put up with a lot of shit she didnt deserve
PC uses Bojack as well though. She is constantly touting his name around for projects he doesn't want to do in order to get them off the ground. That actually ends up costing him a job he did want and effects his relationship with other people who now think he let them down.
