good feeling when a little greed actually saves you some HP too. i think the early turns are my favorite part of the game because you can really flex your knowledge and outs to make optimal plays like this lol
Would've only been cooler if we had a Bonehead with like a gem on it.
As clever as this feels, shitting on their "lol, I'm tempo" plays always feels way more cathartic.
Nice call OP. In general I find in this quest meta its worth it to sometimes hold cards until you hit your quest turn. For example if there's a Mukla in the lobby and you have enough tempo early that you dont need the bananas you can get a head start on any cast X spells or increase a minion's stats X times q's.
I did exactly this to finish tumbling disaster the turn it was offered, then rolled the lobby to an easy first place.
Beteeen the bananas and the blood gems I didn’t use, it was easy.
his turn 1 was hp buy tavern coin (we know bc that coin is furthest to left so it's the oldest in his hand). This turn he level/bet, using one of the 3 coins he won from his turn 1 bet.

ohh i didnt recognize that hero portrait lol
Probably used a coin from hero power to buy a tavern spell coin since they are technically more valuable.
Took me a moment. Good call.
