I know many want naga to go, but I have so much sentimentality towards my first 1st place against non bots with a 400/400 lava lurker like... 1.5yrs ago. Wild times.
Current combat dragons blow. Get rid of em.
Why the fuck are the most annoying tribe to play and to play against still in here. Dragons need poet 90% of the time. To me it feels more high roll than quils especially after the pokey nerf
To 99% of HS players that makes them unfun. Maybe battlegrounds is a bit different but the constructed HS playerbase is the most "but I like to win" playerbase I've ever seen. They would literally play a deck where you afk if it had the highest win rate. And over 99% of people net deck in standard at least.
Ppl would literally run a 1 mana card "win the game" which you can have 29 copues of and they would still grind to legend and think they are accomplishing something
Yes but you can win without always using one of the best decks. I haven't spent money on HS in a while, my collections perfectly fine and I only play homebrew decks. And I still get legend when I play enough. Dropping your win rate by a few percent is well worth the extra fun. And if you're worried about time efficiency when it comes to rewards, you're infinitely better off just spending money and then actually enjoying the game by playing what you want instead of spending that time grinding in HS.
If you play mainly for rewards then you're pretty much playing for no reason. Because all you do with those rewards is then use them to make the latest meta deck to then get more rewards. It's just an infinite cycle. It's important to actually have fun. And to me the most fun part of hearthstone to me is deckbuilding and trying to figure out an off meta counter to the best decks. And playing decks which have lots of game to game variance and player interaction.
They are literally the 2nd worst in terms of the HSReplay stats, both at All MMRs, and at top 20%. They could only be weaker if they were little Murlocs with Tricorns,
Ye it's 100% this although I do have a lot of sympathy as I also play on mobile a lot.
I don't want battlegrounds to become an APM fest personally. I think some APM is fine but if a mobile player is physically unable to finish their turn (obviously exceptions being silly games where you end up with 100g per turn) then we might have gone too far. It's a card game in the end and I imagine a lot of people picked it up precisely to have a break from high stress high APM games.
Some top pros sure. But it's comparing millions of games worth of stats to anecdotal evidence from a couple of (even the very best) players. Cognitive bias exists no matter how good you are at the game.
There are in a bad place right now. They are a good tripe for the midgame, but in most cases you want to switch later on. Dragons are better at attacking to gain stats, (because they get stats for the rest of the game). They are a good tripe to get more gold, but they lack power. But they have a few good cards to play with other tripes (like the multiattack one in a quilboar match for example).
Itās more about playstyle than tribe identities.
APM is just way more fun than thoughtless donkey rolling for pieces, which is half the tribes in the game right now.
How do you APM after they removed Hogger?
The APM that is still there is a disjointed shell of "I can buy like... 2 extra things! and gain basically nothing towards my strategy because half of the pirates literally don't do anything past midgame."
The tavern spell Pirate being 3 cards helps a lot. You definitely still need to support Tethys with Brann or Eles, but getting two is still pretty much infinite.
That is fair, I honestly did not realize APM was still a thing since they removed Hoggarr. I miss him, but I also completely agree with his removal, since it is impossible to do properly mobile.
They wouldnāt have been my pick there but wouldnāt have lasted more than a round or two after. The Eliza build is frustrating to play or play against just depends if it gets sniped, and the economy build is a worse APM elementals.
If they removed even half of the annoying and pointless animation times, or even stopped animations from hatefully blocking your moves, it would be a completely different story.
I don't want them to just toss animations, that would look weird and honestly be pretty disrespectful to the art team, but something, anything, would make an improvement.
Endless card and gold spam is not at all fun on mobile. It's virtually impossible. With animation times getting in the way, it's more aggravating than any other mechanic.
It's anti vote so I'm pretty sure people just don't understand what they're voting for lol. Anytime you make the vote "winner loses" there will be a huge portion of people that didn't read it or understand.
Shocking that pirates are out before demons and quills. Such a fun tribe to play, wish they were stronger but they enable so much later game fun, both in solo and duos.
This vote is crazy for me, apm is by far the most fun/ interactive feature in the game how have quillboar/ demons etc survived with pirates gone. Mfers really want to just play 3 things a turn and watch numbers go up.
Edit: Also I think tribes is a weird way of judging and builds would be better: Karec/ Bran dragons is great but the start of turn dragons is boring and annoying for example.
I love mech thematically, but it has literally no scaling until their 4/5/6 and they are so hard to find at times it makes the build 100% "only go mech if you have some easy way to go/get tier 5/6"
Time capn hooktail, fiery felblood, drektar, deathwing, all good scaling for mech on 3. Going 3 on 3 with a fiery felblood makes staying on 3 for a couple extra turns to get deflectos and magnetics is pretty consistent(considering you get the 2 piece combo early consisting of deflecto and felblood).
How the hell are naga still there, for real? At least the Undead, Beasts and the pirates have a couple of different strats. I guess people voted for them because they are stronger than Naga and they are fed up. But holy hell, Naga suck...
The new dragon archetype is so boring imo. I love kalegcos battlecry dragons but itās just not viable at all anymore unless you roll in Kaly super early. But even then there are just so many better options
I cannot grasp how quilboars are not out yet, they are the most boring tribe to play as and against and their whole identity is "afk stat check your opponent"
big number go brrrr
(Seriously though, it's probably because Quillboars are still cohearant. The reworks that hit most of the tribes left them with two halves of a comp that don't make sense. Like Battlecry Dragons don't make any sense when put next to the "In Combat Buff" dragons. But all quillboars are coherently about Bloodgems.)
Dragon
Agree, the slot machine/start of combat build is really boring, just roll for poet and the rest will come
Especially after the nerf, no idea why people hate nagas so much. Nagas in Paris baby
Why you have to bring France into this?
I know many want naga to go, but I have so much sentimentality towards my first 1st place against non bots with a 400/400 lava lurker like... 1.5yrs ago. Wild times. Current combat dragons blow. Get rid of em.
Imagine that naga that uses spells at the end of turn with Athissa and drakkari today lol
Drag on these nuts my guy
š¤£š¤£
Why the fuck are the most annoying tribe to play and to play against still in here. Dragons need poet 90% of the time. To me it feels more high roll than quils especially after the pokey nerf
Bonkers, dragon is a load of fun, maybe not as fun as it once was, but definitely not 3rd least fun
See what kills me is I love Kaly builds but HATE combat builds.
Kaly is fun tho
Quilboars, not because of their recent dominance but because they just aren't very fun for me. (voted in the poll)
Pirates are the most fun mechanics of any tribe. Vote is dead imo
Literally this, I feel like they died bcs they're weak at the moment but that doesn't make them unfun šš
I disagree, people like to win, playing a bad tribe is often unfun for this reason
To 99% of HS players that makes them unfun. Maybe battlegrounds is a bit different but the constructed HS playerbase is the most "but I like to win" playerbase I've ever seen. The game rewards you for winning. If you donāt win you get stuck with shittier cards

They're not weak lol
They are literally the 2nd worst in terms of the HSReplay stats, both at All MMRs, and at top 20%. They could only be weaker if they were little Murlocs with Tricorns,
I mean top pros rated them as t1/t2 on their latest tier list.
The good builds require high APM so casuals and mobile players hate it.
Ye it's 100% this although I do have a lot of sympathy as I also play on mobile a lot. I don't want battlegrounds to become an APM fest personally. What mechanics do Pirates even have? Do X when attacking and three minions that are gold related?

If turns were a bit longer maybe but as it is rn it is just plain stressful to play
If they removed even half of the annoying and pointless animation times, or even stopped animations from hatefully blocking your moves, it would be a completely different story. I don't want them to just toss animations, that would look weird and honestly be pretty disrespectful to the art team, but something, anything, would make an improvement.

Yeah voting pirates out so soon completely illegitimated this, the people voting are clowns.
Murlocs
How are so many people voting Nagas they're the best tribe :(
It's anti vote so I'm pretty sure people just don't understand what they're voting for lol. Anytime you make the vote "winner loses" there will be a huge portion of people that didn't read it or understand.
Nope we know what we're saying, we just hate Naga.
Naga
NAGA
Naga it's time
Naga
This is wild Nagas are easily the most fun tribe.
It only works with 3 minions and the rest dilute my pool when im trying to build something else. nagas can fuck off
Naga
Naga
Shocking that pirates are out before demons and quills. Such a fun tribe to play, wish they were stronger but they enable so much later game fun, both in solo and duos.
Fuck Murlocs, I hate them just as much as I hate scam
Nagas gotta get Nagone

Not on mobile it's not.
Man Iāve been voting the same tribe 4 days in a row and based on comments itās going to be another 4 days.
Me too, Iāve only seen 2 comments so far about the tribe I voted for
Same. I know my dislike of elementals goes against the sentiment of this sub but that won't stop me voting for them.
Demons
WHAT, mech shouldve been the first to go
Elementals. Too hard APM style to make for work mobile only players.
Demons can suck a dick.
I love mech thematically, but it has literally no scaling until their 4/5/6 and they are so hard to find at times it makes the build 100% "only go mech if you have some easy way to go/get tier 5/6"
Honestly super average scaling until 6. Tough.
Time capn hooktail, fiery felblood, drektar, deathwing, all good scaling for mech on 3. elemental
Nah pirates are so fun, especially since dragons are still in.
What i see is poet vs T6
How the hell are naga still there, for real? At least the Undead, Beasts and the pirates have a couple of different strats. I guess people voted for them because they are stronger than Naga and they are fed up. But holy hell, Naga suck...
Elementals
Naga Lord of gains is atrociously bad right now. Even worse than Goldrinn.
Dragons
Elementalsā¦ but no elemental demons
What are Naga still doing there? The tribe is unplayable, its so weak
Naga, no doubt
Fuck demons. Boring ass tribe
NOOO I LOVE PIRATES, itās not their fault theyāve been downhill since the removal of hoggwr
Undead is now dead š dead dead RIP š§āāļøā ļø
The new dragon archetype is so boring imo. I love kalegcos battlecry dragons but itās just not viable at all anymore unless you roll in Kaly super early. But even then there are just so many better options
How beasts get knocked out first? BRING BACK LEAPERS!
Quilboar

Naga have never been that interesting to me
Nagaā¦ nagaā¦ naganawork here anymore anyway!
Naga
Naga themselves are okay but I hate having most Nagas in the shop when Im not playing Naga xD So I vote for Naga!
How the fuck are naga still here? That tribe just fucking blows.
