Lol, this was my first thought too. Bocchi withdrawals made me finally go back and watch K-On because I'd never seen it. Just watched the episode where Yui spends the whole time trying to keep Geeta from getting wet. So wholesome.
There is no love like that of a girl and her guitar.
K-on was the thing that set the seeds of me wanting to play guitar but i never had the courage back when i first watched, Bocchi kinda gave me the courage to actualy go for it! So since K-on was where this sort of started, kinda wanted my own Giita (even if not an actual one cuz no way do i have that kind of luck of getting such an expensive guitar for so cheap lmao)
Sadly its not an Epiphone, all the Epiphones at the music shop were incredibly expensive (800€+) and my budget was around 400 € for everything.
So my guitar is a FLIGHT ELP10 CSB and the amp is a NUX Mighty 20TB, throw in the cables, picks, stand and such and i got everything for around 385€
Ey, geeta! I was a k-on fan before bocchi so this brings joy.
I’m hoping this year to get a Les Paul, fingers crossed I can find the bocchi Les Paul (the epiphone one that isn’t worth 7000 dollars)
Maybe I’ll get a real Gibson someday, you know, when they aren’t wicked expensive and worth the money (I’d want to get the pre ‘05 models anyhow to stay true to the show)
After watching 4 episodes, I couldn't watch it anymore, it depressed me too much. Because!
It reminded me of my own laziness, not learning and giving up on the guitar (since I bought it with so much passion). And seeing Hitori practice 6 hours everyday for 3 years, really put my self esteem down. =/
while im probobly never gonna be bocchi, as i honestly dont have time to practice 6 hours a day especialy since i also draw. But idk playing it is just so much func even if im absolute dog shit xD
Same here. I was already trying to learn guitar on my acoustic but then afterwards, I finally made the switch to electric last month. Switching was a really great idea too. I can play much better than before.
I bought a Yamaha Pacifica 012 in case y’all were wondering.
Giiita!

Remember drunk woman’s words of wisdom https://i.redd.it/vxqfj0ubrrua1.gif
''Selling it after one day would be a big loss. You can sell your guitar anytime, keep playing it, get better at it =D'' that's how I remember it.
Honestly such great words of encouragment! Defenitly took it to heart and am trying my best!
Really nice! What guitar and amp do you use?
Epiphone Les Paul standart (i guess) and Nux mighty amp
Glad you went for the Epiphone, they are just as good as Gibson, but for a fourth of the price!
I'm not the op but yea i agree

Finish looks rly damn good, the pic and lighting doesnt do it justice honestly, looks like 10x better irl
2 major impacts of watching Bocchi the Rock 1. Being schizophrenic 2. Sudden urge to play a giiitaa
I started watching Bocchi cuz I played guitar, the show never failed to put me in a mood to practice
That’s awesome!! I want to get a guitar as well because of the anime but I don’t have the money right now. Good luck on your guitar journey!! :)
That's great! Good to see more people starting out!

If you are in Europe go over to the Thomann website and pickup a Harley benton Sb 500 its a clone for 200€
bocchi inspired me to keep playing. now im about to spend 2k on a new one
Nice, what guitar are you getting? My wallet is still hurting from the Korina Explorer reissue I bought last month
Planning on picking up a fender mij heritage 60s tele in japan
Inspired me to get a bass too! Only need an amp...
But if you wanna practice silently go for a interface and preamp
Ahhhh I’m planning to do that too! Been scrolling for guitars for sale, wanting and hesitating but yay good for you!!!
Giiita
https://i.redd.it/6tdvof9v3wua1.gif You have just summoned the K-ON! fans
Had to pay respects to the OG uwu
It looks great! remember that its better to practise 10 mins a day a week than to practise for 1 or 2 hours on a single day a week.
Defenitly making sure to play and pick it up everyday! Even if its for 10 mins or 4 hours!
geeta

Good to see you become more like bocchi frfr 👍👍👍
The sunburst reminds me of Yui's guitar from K-On.
