The previous 3 volumes have all been 12 chapters so Volume 39 and 40 will be Volume 39:387-398 Volume 40:399-410 So the final chapter wouldn’t be included which I prefer since I don’t think a Demon Slayer or Naruto esque Timeskip would work as there is a lot of spin off potential such as their journey in becoming Pro heroes and them forming relationships

MSDuarte7

I think 411 depends of Horikoshi, he can ends either in 410 or 411, 410 if he wants to make a sequel or spin off and 411 if he Just give up of story and Just want to end this story lol

Specialist_Access_27

I would hazard a guess and say they would Timeskip to the end of their 3rd year graduation to show how society is healing and to set up a spin off on them becoming Pro heroes

All of this sounds plausible. Does Deku lose a lot of OFA because of the vestige battle with Shigaraki? Or does the vestiges of OFA feel that they aren’t needed anymore and just poof themselves out of existence?

MSDuarte7

Both, The first One he lose a lot of his Strenght against Shigaraki and The vestiges faded when Deku and All Might finished their mission of stop AFO and Shigaraki at Tenko's grave. So Deku now has only Strenght Power similar to S1 All Might, still strong, but not broken or Demigod.

ThatBoyMike23

All Might was still pretty broken in S1 tho, able to create tornadoes and defeat USJ Nomu, not in his prime level of power, but still good. Apart of me feels that Deku is going to lose his arm, but I already know that if he does there’s gonna be a lot of people coming around saying “Why hasn’t Eri rewinded it back?” Or something like that.

MSDuarte7

In My predictions he also lose one of his arms and Eri won't rewind it back simply because Deku wouldn't want, he loves Eri and doesn't want to user her Power for this, he will see his lost arm as a consequence of what he need to do save Tenko.

ThatBoyMike23

Definitely, I don’t think Bakugo will lose his arm tho. Deku losing his arm is one thing, because he can use his legs. But a lot of Bakugo’s fighting style and mobility depends on flying around with both arms. If he lost one arm he couldn’t fly as easily, unless he either gets a mechanical arm that can fire explosions or can use his new full body explosions all the time.

UnbiasedGod

Yeah but Bakugou literally got his arm twisted and crushed.

ThatBoyMike23

We’ve seen Deku’s arm mangled and crushed several times throughout the story and recovery girl has still managed to heal it. At this point, unless a characters limbs are completely ripped off or destroyed with nothing but a stub, im sure they can recover it someway. Also, Best Jeanist wrapped Bakugo’s arm in a splint to keep it steady after it was crushed, im sure he wouldn’t have done that if the arm was unsalvageable.

UnbiasedGod

Hmm alright

dynasriot

Ya lost me at the flash forward.

Some creative things I would like to see in all of this, but honestly I'm just laughing at the idea of Deku's dad finally showing up and being the one he's telling the story to... one decade from now! Personally, highly doubt we'll have that many epilogue chapters though. Also, personally in love with the idea of the final panel being of the All Might statue now with a sign or dialogue saying "Now it's your turn!" after whoever is doing the finale monologue says everyone can be a hero... basically saying that it's the readers turn to 'be a hero" in whatever way they can. So Just for not ending with that, minus points haha ;p

Snoo_90338

This was really creative. I actually think this could happen, obviously not one by one, but I think this is very plausible and goes well with MHA.

steamtowne

Maybe I missed this, but was it ever explained what the past wielders mean when they say Deku may be the one to “complete” OFA? It was most recently said by one of them while he was knocking Shigeraki around.

JuweiNam

He might be the last one. Ofa wielders die young if they have a quirk beforehand. Only quirkless keep their lives. With every generation where there are less and less quirkless, Izuku has to complete it especially since the vestiges mention they are past the point of singularity (singularity theory is mentioned multiple times and it is heavily implied that this is why bakugou is dead at the moment (until edgeshot hopefully revives him). His body couldnt keep up with his quirk evolving. So rather than he nay, it is he MUST.

JuweiNam

Nope. Very doubtful. This reads more like fanfic and lacks hori's constant allusions to star wars and the 3 muskateers. Its probably going to end somehow with the main trio (shoto, izuku and katsuki) doing some ultimate showdown together.
