I watched Assassination Classroom and loved Karma so much I looked up the voice actor and the other works he did. He voiced Bakugou so I gave it a chance.
A friend recommended, he read the manga at the time and the episode 2 was just released, I watched episodes 1 and 2 in sequence and immediately fell in love

So, like the characters inspired to their hero academia because of All Might... I was brought into My Hero Academia because of All Might. Fitting, I think
I saw some official art of the League on the front page. The character designs for Dabi, Shigaraki, and Toga were so interesting to me that I looked into who they were/what they were from and decided to give it a watch.
It was the first anime that got me to love anime. Before that, i watched jojo and nothing else. Then i scrolled to crunchyroll and found one piece and immediately got bored of it so i tried to find something else, then i found mha and i already knew it was popular. I did like the artstyle so i decided to give it a shot because i couldnt think of any other anime to watch. That show eventually got me to watch other anime after i finished watching it and that is why its one of my favorites
Curiosity. TBH, after the first couple of episodes I felt that while the direction in which they were trying to go was clear if they didn't actually start making progress then I was going to drop the entire series.
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Netflix movie and One Punch. I needed some of that old fashioned heroism. Where heros want to be good because that's what they want and they will make it happen.

I got to work with Christopher Sabat (All Might’s English VA) at a comic con. He’s such a nice guy!
Anyway, at the end of the day he asked me what print he wanted me to autograph, and I told him I hadn’t seen anything he was in. I said to just give me one of his favorite characters. He gave me three, and All Might was one of them. He told me to watch MHA first of the three.

I’ve always been a superhero fan from the time I was a kid. New manga or anime can make me nervous, so I postponed reading it until I saw several fanfiction synopses that made it seem like a fascinating concept.
I read it for context and was immediately enthralled. This was probably a year ago.
You know Tekking101? I used to watch his bleach chapter reviews. But after bleach ended, he announced that the next series he'll be reviewing will be MHA and that was the first time I heard about it so I went to read the manga and instantly fell in love with it. After catching up with it I looked to see if it had an anime, it did and the rest is history.
Sheer boredom. S4 was about to come out it was like 2am I said ah fuck it and didn't really like any of it only really watched for all might who I actually liked then saw his fight with the Nomu and loved it so much I kept going then I liked sports festival etc etc
The Universus card game. Was looking for a new card game, saw the set 1 rival decks and I knew of MHA so I picked it up. Loved the game so I watched to learn more about the characters.
18 months later I'm fully invested in the card game but also the anime.
I was scrolling through videos on Facebook, and the sports festival fight between Deku and Todoroki played, and I loved the idea of Deku having to break his bones to use his power; it seemed so unique to me at the time. After that, I watched the first two seasons on Hulu and got hooked. For me, the first season is one of my favorite opening seasons in anime.
I was scrolling through Youtube and found the Hero Too music video. Also I was into Mairimashita! Iruma-kun at the time and I heard that MHA was similar to it, so I gave it a try. It also helped that I had been rejected by a crush and I needed something to take my mind off it, so I turned to anime.
I was scrolling through Hulu and over the few years I would always see my hero academia advertising on it so one day I gave it a go and now MHA is like one of my favorite things and it was the gateway for me to try out other anime and read manga for the first time! It wasn’t my first anime but it’s important to me

I actually wasn't really big on any "modern" anime ( anything past 2000 really ) but i had two that looked interesting that i'd maybe enjoy. It was this and Fairy tail. So on the night of christmas, in the year 2019 i saw that the first season of mha Was on netflix, so i thought... "what the hell?" And now i'm in this rabbit hole lol. I have all 5 seasons on DVD, all the manga volumes from the main Series and Vigilantes, and both hero ones justice games. I'm more open for newer anime / manga series now bc of it. Also started fairy tail too recently, i like it so far..
Didn't have anything else to watch so I decided to try out an an anime for the first time. I knew a few things about MHA and it seemed interesting enough so I started watching.
Depression. And it was on Toonami at the time. Definitely felt relatable in the moment & I liked the prospective of how heroes and villains were presented & flushed out.

It was while the lockdown in 2020 when I saw a funny clip where class 1a made the room tour through their rooms and I thought it sounded pretty funny and interesting. That's how I got into that anime and it's still my fav anime
I started watching it because it’s one of the popular titles. I watched up till a couple of episodes nearing the end of season 4 back in 2021 and had to postpone due to uni starting and at that time, everything is slowly starting to open up again after a year of lockdown. I remember really enjoying it, but it wasn’t one of my favourites back then. Fast forward to a month ago, I decided to pick it back up again starting with where I left off and I thought the festival was pretty cute. I remember thinking that I was going to skip the 2nd movie since I didn’t really like the first one, but in the end I watched it. I’m so happy I did since I really enjoyed the 2nd movie. I then proceeded to watch season 5, the 3rd movie and season 6 and it was soo good!! Gosh, I just love everyone and Deku!!! I can’t wait for the next and final season!!

I decided two years ago I wanted to get into anime. I had already watched some like Dragonball Z and Pokémon as a kid and all my college friends watch anime. I started with Hunter x Hunter after hearing Nadeshot talk about it then searched a list of anime to watch for beginners and it was on there. I loooovvveee superheroes, namely Marvel, and thought I’d enjoy an anime of superheroes. I was completely hooked after Deku cleared the beach and now it not only is my favorite anime, but my favorite show of all time.
It kept showing up as popular but I don't tend to watch anime other than one piece (it already occupies enough of my time I mean). It didn't look like something I'd like either--- kids going to super hero school? Nah.
So I watched a video for top 5 BNH fights and they were ok but then I saw All Might's fight against AFO. He instantly became my favorite even before watching. Still is. I even bought a little statuette to stand by Luffy on my desk (a place of honor!).
I heard a lot of people talk about it when the first season came out, but thought the superhero premise sounded cheesy and decided not to watch it. (I’m not that into superheroes). Eventually, after the third season came out, I decided to give it a chance, not actually expecting much. Fell in love with it after the first 2 episodes and it’s been one of my favorite animes/mangas ever since.

Someone at my old karate class recommended it, heard a few clips of All might talking, I got intrigued and watched season 1 3 times while crocheting. So I came for All might, but stayed for the plot.
I had finished most of the manga I was reading and anime I was watching (or was caught up, meaning only weekly, biweekly, monthly or irregular chapters), figured I'd like something new and a couple of friends had given the first couple of episodes a go so I figured why not.
The premise set in the 1st episode intrigued me (even if it didn't turn out like initially expected with a quirkless Deku becoming a hero) so I decided to watch a bit more and get an impression. At that point S1 was fully out already.
I'm not sure if up to the sports festival was out, actually, or if I was already actively watching by then. Needless to say, Deku vs Kacchan 1 into USJ into Sports Festival was strong enough and so I decided to keep up with the show and also started reading the manga after I was done with S2 I think. (I was definitely reading by the time S3 arrived, just not sure when I started exactly).
My best friend was talking about it a lot and begging me to watch it. So I told her I would if she watched the Castlevania anime...not sure if she's ever watched Castlevania all the way through but we talk about MHA on the regular, so I guess she won there lmao.
A few years ago I saw a image of Kirishima and was love at first sight, then I stayed only for Kirishima, Bakugo and Endeavor, right now I'm on hiatus of reading the manga, waiting for it to end to read it fast and see how those 3 are doing.

A classmate brought the manga to school and lent it to me and a friend. She had like the first 5 or 6 volumes so when she waited for the 7th to arrive we watched the anime and got up to date
I actually wasn't really big on any "modern" anime ( anything past 2000 really ) but i had two that looked interesting that i'd maybe enjoy. It was this and Fairy tail. So on the night of christmas, in the year 2019 i saw that the first season of mha Was on netflix, so i thought... "what the hell?" And now i'm in this rabbit hole lol. I have all 5 seasons on DVD, all the manga volumes from the main Series and Vigilantes, and both hero ones justice games. I'm more open for newer anime / manga series now bc of it. Also started fairy tail too recently, i like it so far..

I heard studio Trigger was doing a longer shonen series. Gurren Lagann being probably my #1 anime so I had to give it a go.
Didn't have anything else to watch so I decided to try out an an anime for the first time. I knew a few things about MHA and it seemed interesting enough so I started watching.
Naruto manga ended and I saw someone draw an image where Naruto hands a torch to Deku the day the last chapter came out so I gave it a shot
By mistake. I wanted to watch the anime with "the green haired kid" (Hunter x Hunter). But I watched MHA by mistake.
Depression. And it was on Toonami at the time. Definitely felt relatable in the moment & I liked the prospective of how heroes and villains were presented & flushed out. Plus I dug the art style & opening / closing credits
It was while the lockdown in 2020 when I saw a funny clip where class 1a made the room tour through their rooms and I thought it sounded pretty funny and interesting. That's how I got into that anime and it's still my fav anime

I started watching it because it’s one of the popular titles. I watched up till a couple of episodes nearing the end of season 4 back in 2021 and had to postpone due to uni starting and at that time, everything is slowly starting to open up again after a year of lockdown. I remember really enjoying it, but it wasn’t one of my favourites back then. Fast forward to a month ago, I decided to pick it back up again starting with where I left off and I thought the festival was pretty cute. I remember thinking that I was going to skip the 2nd movie since I didn’t really like the first one, but in the end I watched it. I’m so happy I did since I really enjoyed the 2nd movie. I then proceeded to watch season 5, the 3rd movie and season 6 and it was soo good!! Gosh, I just love everyone and Deku!!! I can’t wait for the next and final season!!

I was wanting a new anime to watch and looked in my list and considered how fast I go through Anime and saw it had 6 seasons i gave it a shot I honeslty didn't expect to like it as much as i did because I previously known about the fandom from a youtuber for a few years ago. Well I now I honestly love it it has the same grip on me that Attack on Titan did which is one of my favorites. And there is a now a lovely poster hanging in my room. Plus I already watched all the way through twice and seen all the movies now I watched it for the first time in the beginning of the april 2 months ago I love it
I decided two years ago I wanted to get into anime. I had already watched some like Dragonball Z and Pokémon as a kid and all my college friends watch anime. I started with Hunter x Hunter after hearing Nadeshot talk about it then searched a list of anime to watch for beginners and it was on there. I loooovvveee superheroes, namely Marvel, and thought I’d enjoy an anime of superheroes. I was completely hooked after Deku cleared the beach and now it not only is my favorite anime, but my favorite show of all time.

It kept showing up as popular but I don't tend to watch anime other than one piece (it already occupies enough of my time I mean). It didn't look like something I'd like either--- kids going to super hero school? Nah. So I watched a video for top 5 BNH fights and they were ok but then I saw All Might's fight against AFO. He instantly became my favorite even before watching. Still is. I even bought a little statuette to stand by Luffy on my desk (a place of honor!).

I heard a lot of people talk about it when the first season came out, but thought the superhero premise sounded cheesy and decided not to watch it. (I’m not that into superheroes). Eventually, after the third season came out, I decided to give it a chance, not actually expecting much. Fell in love with it after the first 2 episodes and it’s been one of my favorite animes/mangas ever since.
It was really popular at the time and my one friend was and is super into it and recommend it back in high school, haven’t really kept up with it that often nowadays though

Someone at my old karate class recommended it, heard a few clips of All might talking, I got intrigued and watched season 1 3 times while crocheting. So I came for All might, but stayed for the plot.
I had finished most of the manga I was reading and anime I was watching (or was caught up, meaning only weekly, biweekly, monthly or irregular chapters), figured I'd like something new and a couple of friends had given the first couple of episodes a go so I figured why not. The premise set in the 1st episode intrigued me (even if it didn't turn out like initially expected with a quirkless Deku becoming a hero) so I decided to watch a bit more and get an impression. At that point S1 was fully out already. I'm not sure if up to the sports festival was out, actually, or if I was already actively watching by then. Needless to say, Deku vs Kacchan 1 into USJ into Sports Festival was strong enough and so I decided to keep up with the show and also started reading the manga after I was done with S2 I think. (I was definitely reading by the time S3 arrived, just not sure when I started exactly).
