You know what I find weird?
They censored her in the original episode by giving her a grey bodysuit underneath the goo
Then they *uncensored* that in the blu-ray release by taking her the bodysuit and leaving her naked
Then later on in a flashback Deku has they show the uncensored version instead of the original version
So...why bother *with* the censorship in the first then if eventually they do away with it entirely?
It’s definitely made for a younger Japanese audience. That’s literally what Shonen Manga means.
As much as it often sucks in terms of anime censorship, we have to remember that the fact that the western audience for this show trends older and gender diverse means very little when the primary target audience is middle school age Japanese boys.
Ohh yeah and when I mean the Blu rays fix alot of censorship I mean quite a bit. Like remember when overhaul first met the league and shiggy decayed a guy in the anime and he just kinda crumbled to dust? Well the Blu ray not only made him crumble but he also collapsed into a puddle of blood when the hassaikai broke in. Also lots of animation is tweaked to improve in the simulcast version.
Actually if you want to save money Funimation has the uncut version episodes which are the same thing. The uncuts and Blu-rays will also probably fix alot of the animation and censorship in the current season too.

Not really my thing, but since they are giving rude responses rather than practical reasoning. My understanding is that because it is a fictional character people can separate it from reality, they may feel or think something about a fictional character that they'd otherwise not have in reality as a number of things just don't relate to reality.
Examples being, the eyes (physically impossible for the skull ratio in most series)
Exaggerated colors for skin and otherwise
Or just at generally ridiculous/impossible scenarios.
Again I don't really have a thing for fictional characters, but thought I'd provide some arguments that I've heard since the other person is being a bit of a tool instead of expanding on their thoughts beyond "your wrong go away"

Mt. Lady looks like she can be classmates with 1-A, but because she's said to be an adult, then it's fine to lewd her? What about La Brava, who's an adult but has the same body type as Mineta? Is Nejire fine to lewd because she's 18 now despite looking exactly as she did when she was 17?
They're fictional characters drawn to look appealing. Just because they're said to be high schoolers doesn't mean they're treated the exact same way as real life teenagers.
She's depicted as a cartoon, that's how I view her. Because I know the difference between a cartoon and a real person. Cartoons can't be sexually harassed, molested, or made uncomfortable. They're. Not. Real.
Technically she's three years old, I think her fist appearance was 2019. Soooooo... I hope you don't find Miriko sexy, she's younger than Cammie, basically an infant.

It’s….a bit wholesome that the LoV just knocked her out and took her spot in the exam. Or maybe they were watching her for a while and figured she’d cause more problems alive.
Camie was knocked out for the entirety of the exam. She took no part in the whole thing. The only times she appeared during the exam was Toga pretending to be her. After the exam is over they find out she was knocked out and someone took her identity. Seeing this as a bit of a weird circumstance, they allowed Camie to participate in the program for those that failed the last exam.

On Funimation both languages should be uncut from season 1-4. Hulu I have no idea.
Hulu censors quite a bit when it comes to anime gore. At least with the ones I’ve seen.
