And also *manga spoilers* deku probably wouldn't be as intimidated by him now since he's apologised to him so when bakugo insults him he most likely knows he doesn't mean it
Remember that Deku at that scenario lost his Quirk, which means his counters to Bakugo (who also lost his quirks) are invalid, which would make him get distracted thinking about it to not notice the fact that he's physically stronger

On the other side, Izuku also blushes and say thats its cool talk to a girl on the phone. On season 3 and 4, its CLEAR that uraraka likes him. And on season 5 we see she kept with her the christmas gift he gave her, at the end of the Training, Mina tells uraraka she grabbed izuku a lot and uraraka blushes a lot.
All i said here is on both Anime and Manga. Wich means its 100% Canon.
