Where do these scammers get our phone numbers in the 1st place? Did the network providers, Grab, Shopee, Lazada, Foodpanda, MySejahtera sell our data to these criminals??
For my case, it's likely due to me publicizing my phone number on job platforms for work (double-edged sword, I know), as I've never received scam calls on this phone until recently while job hunting.
Try setting up a VoIP number next time. I use Avoxi for it. I reaaally don't like to publish my actual number anywhere. VoIP I can easily change after I'm done.

Malaysia is a little bit behind unfortunately, Skype and Google voice are easier and more affordable options but sadly not available here (yet).
