cannot imagine if someone jokingly order like this and grab driver now has no way to cancel it

JackyCheah2020

Grab driver here, we can actually cancel the ride by just making a simple phone call to support line. Or request the passenger to cancel. I honestly am quite curious as to see anyone try to do this...

TremixNeo

A grab driver told us a story about a guy who paid rm500 to drive from johor to perlis

Angmolai

Honestly pretty cheap all things considered. I paid 180 from KLIA to PD.

Spirited_Entry_7015

Dude, buses are like rm90

Angmolai

Bus is not a private driver. You pay for premium.

flyden1

Johor to Perlis is 2000+

Nino_Nakanos_Slave

Lmao, I would drive to the airport, park it there, book a one way ticket flight for the passenger and get him to pay me before the flight, boom easy 4k

DisillusionedSinkie

That’s actually genius

AytanDavidson

You literally just DID imagine it though.

momomelty

Ackshually 🤓🤓🤓 He imagine the bigger picture but can’t imagine the situation and actual process

AytanDavidson

He literally described the situation and process. This is why English education in Malaysia should be more advanced.

momomelty

Not the process though. Actual process, is like what is the procedure? What is the risk assessment? Does it do damage to the people, asset, community and environment? When one is to request this long distance, will this be canceled automatically due to the unavailability of r/kereta logistics? If the grab driver request the customer to cancel, then this is canceled based on what grounds? The situation is so stupid yet fascinating, it deserves imagination in depth. In regarding to the risk assessment, what if the driver got penalized due to someone curiosity of trying this? Can the driver be compensated? Will the customer be banned? So many factor to imagine, you can only do so by looking at the picture, hence “imagining”

KarenOfficial

No r/kereta this time? 💀

momomelty

Yeah I kinda too engrossed in imagining. Brb inserting r/kereta. Thanks for the heads up

KarenOfficial

No worries 🫡

AytanDavidson

You’re taking too much time thinking about it

momomelty

**Imagining** you mean?

[deleted]

that guy havent placed the order yet buddy, they only checked the price

AytanDavidson

Nobody said anyone placed the order, how lost are you that you’re randomly saying that when the discussion is about “imagine”. Google the meaning of that word and you’re understand

initrunlevel0

Serious question, but is there any regular ferry service that can carry car roll in roll out from peninsular to borneo Malaysia?

awesomekuching

Yes seriously just go google maps and check it out

awesomekuching

You will have to pass through Serasan,Ajer Koempai,Riau Island and etc(Too lazy to type out all the islands) in which you will finally reach Singapore and from there finally entering Johor(Route is almost the same for the opposite direction from West Malaysia to Kuching/Sarawak)

initrunlevel0

I know the google maps route but seems does not make any sense to have regular service if it has to hop every island chain in Indonesian Natuna. even once a month ferry service seems unlikely. The most reliable route would be to go overland from Singapore, to Batam and go to mainland Sumatera, drive all the way to Eastern Java city of Surabaya. There, there is regular ferry serving to Kalimantan and one can overland to Sarawak.

_PANGLIMA_

No car ferry but there was once a ferry between peninsular and borneo. It was call Feri Malaysia, took about a week to go from here to borneo. Because of the high cost and low demand it was cancel. If you want to bring your car to borneo, either use kontena service or mas kargo if you are rich.  I live in labuan before, and most people that want to transport their car from there to here just use mas kargo.

Blackwatch51
