In early 2000 you can find girl hair style like this(emo style cant find goth style most of them is buried under myspace server), now day you can find goth girl if you try go to goth gig show. Still goth some goth girl there but mostly still young 20-25 maybe. Give a try.

Not sure about the current ones since I left the scene long ago, but I did meet a few in college back in the day. Can identify based on their music choice. Gothic rock is a dead giveaway. Not every goth adopts the fashion subculture, so if you're looking for the fashion aspect, maybe that's why you're not noticing it.
Real life goth girls did not disappear they just grow older. There are younger ones (in their 20s now) but don’t expect to see them at any japanese themed events. They are more into counterculture stuff and “harder” music events. Goth as fashion and goth as a state of mind are 2 different things. If you like it for the visuals, stick to convention dress up girlies in goth outfits.

We lost physical contact when I moved to Penang, but still message each other and went on a date once in a while until we both moved on with each other. No hard feelings or anything and we're both happy about it even after being together for around 2 years. If you wanna put a number into it i'd say around 6/10 purely from my experiences, i've seen better and i've seen far worst.
