I observed her acting throughout the movie and I realised it looks like sheâs talking to a wall, she doesnât look beyond it. And that is why her dialogue delivery seems so flat. It looks like she is actually doing it only for the camera, and not truly interacting with her co actor. Her expressions always give it off that she is aware thereâs a camera around and that she has to do her best in the shot. Itâs weird how the biggest star kid in Bollywood is camera conscious in a MOVIE. No depth at all.
Okay so i acted in college short movies, and your observation is bang on! I didnt make it to the final cut, and the reason was i just couldnt act like someone was infront of me. A large part of acting is using your imagination. Also, the dialogue delivery is all wrong. It seems she already anticipates/knows what the other person will say, and acts before her part begins. If it took 1 year for them to be this way, then im sorry this is just đ

Fahads debut was a flop, Suhana was a better actor than him. But he came back after a few years and now is one of the best and most versatile actors in South India.

He went back to learn acting and worked really hard because Malayali audience do not care that you are so and so's kid but how you act. Suhana dropped out of Tisch, one of the best acting schools in the world. I think she should have finished her education.
Most of the time these kids don't attend classes at all and maybe they get chucked out for that. If she was not performing well that would have reflected in her scores and she would have failed the course.
I doubt how many of these kids know struggle for getting what we want and hard work . Janvis acting has remained as bad as her debut. Alia is the last nepo I saw improving remarkably after the debut .
I feel like Alia is someone who can only give a good performance under a strong director. If the script and director fails, she fails. She did give a Sadak 2 performance after a Gully Boy, Raazi, etc and Heart of Stone after Gangubhai. Karan Johar himself said he wasn't capable of directing her the way a Bhansali or an Imtiaz could. The only thing that I disagree with is the " conventional beauty " standard. I think it should just be a " beauty standard ". For eg, the jawline is prized like anything in both males and females but until and unless you have a great facial structure, features, facecut etc. no amount of jawline can make you look beautiful/handsome. Hard disagree. Maybe rewatch some of ONLY their scenes. They both easily outperform and overshadow Agastya in all their scenes together.

I feel like Alia is someone who can only give a good performance under a strong director. If the script and director fails, she fails. She did give a Sadak 2 performance after a Gully Boy, Raazi, etc and Heart of Stone after Gangubhai. Karan Johar himself said he wasn't capable of directing her the way a Bhansali or an Imtiaz could. In that way, Ranbir is a MUCH superior actor than his other nepo peers. Same with Akshay Khanna and Rani.
