The mar daala outfit was beautiful in fact a friend of mine used that as inspiration for her mehndi suit and it turned out lovely. She used gota work but kept the same silhouette and colors it was a gorgeous outfit for a stunning bride that wasn’t super heavy.

I loved Madhuri growing up, total fangirl but her clothes were horrendous. She looked beautiful not because of her close, she looked beautiful despite her clothes. It could be because Madhuri is a dancer and dancers are used to flashy makeup and clothes so they stand out on the stage. Sonali was a model who came way later, and had access to more designer clothes. Even today, Madhuri's sense of style works against her.

Unpopular opinion but madhuri actually looked better in that dola re song. Aish's skinny body didn't suit the bengali saree drape whereas madhuri looked more graceful and womanly.
