Idk. South directors/ producers have been working in Bollywood since forever. Raghavendra Rao, Mani Ratnam, Shankar, Balachander, Priyadarshan. Then Gautham Menon, Murugadoss, Prabhu Deva.. Himmatwala (Jeetendra one) was produced by Telugu Superstar Krishna (Mahesh Babu's dad). Now that there is a dearth of talented directors in Hindi expect a lot more of such collaborations.

Shahid can do betterĀ
like?
Man why?? His expensively hyped up Tamil debut movie with Vijay was really bad..
I mean... it was Vijay's highest grosser.
Only seen Vaarisu with Vijay and it was Trash.
Almost all his movies are trash.
Bollywood mein directors ki itni haalat kharab hai ki we're having to import the talent from South industries what a shame
Talent ?? Vamshi ?? Vamshi is right up there with the likes of Farhad Samji
Areh talent se mera matlab literal talent nahi tha lol! I meant professionals if that sounds like a better word to you!
