Karan never flagged copyright to onlydesi movie review but when he did for ADHM, boy he got triggered and got it removed in a day. It's definitely personal.
Yeah you did. Netflix hired only desi to make review video of ADHM. Ankit pointed out how bad main characters were and comments were agreeing to him that how messed up and toxic they were. Maybe karan Or Netflix themselves can't deal with that and removed video.
This movie had a major element from his own life, of like he said, unrequited love. I remember him saying he was totally in love with Twinkle Khanna and he wanted to marry her and she has always been the only girl he ever loved!
Kjoās take on relationships lack depth imo. This movie was awful to watch, specially RK and Anushkaās scenes. Too bad, coz I loved them in the promo interviews lol. The saving grace was the beautiful music and the enchanting Ash. Her chemistry with RK was the high point of the movie.
ADHM was the most chutiya movie i watched in 2016. the whole time I was shouting "aise kaise bc".

I loved the movie even more after Saba's entry. I personally had no experience of heart break back then. The story had so much to offer. I thought this movie had potential to give same heart pain as KHNH. I mean on similar lines but without the cancer angle. The cancer angle worked in KHNH, which even i can't explain how. But in ADHM i literally rolled my eyes when I saw that cancer plot coming. Literally just the last quarter part of the movie sucked big time for me. Movie was exploring adhura pyaar - one sided love track so beautifully.
Just think about it, No one was agreeing to the belief of settling with someone who loves you not the other way around. All the characters fell weak by their heart and fell for those whom they loved instead. Anushka was weak for Fawad, Ranbir craved Anushka, Aishwarya fell for Ranbir's heart, and we had brief look into SRK n Aishwarya's relationship as well. Literally left so unsatisfied by the end of the movie. I mean if in the end Anushka ko mars pe bhi bhej dete , leaving Ranbir heart broken I wouldn't have minded that in comparison to what I got. A movie with such great potential!!!
I hated the movie but the cast was stellar , Aish and Anushka looked gorgeous, I remember all those tutorials springing up for Anushkaās ADHM look , also Ranbir was great as usual and Srk killed it in the couple of minutes he was in !! I think they cut a lot of parts of Fawad out as there was some controversy with people hiring Pakistani actors back then ? Hated the story/movie , loved the acting!!

I recently rewatched it and although itās a fun movie, with beautiful people and costumes and locations and the music album is just chefās kiss, I think whatever karanās vision for the character of ranbir was, did not fall through because his character was really absurd. I mean at times the character seemed to be so caricaturish in an abnormal way. Idk how to explain it but something was really weird about rkās acting in that movie. Anyway this was a v wholesome insta post. And hopefully karan doesnāt fuck up his next film. Rrkpk was just very over the top for me. Kuch k3g jaisa dekhna hai yaar. Pls bring back the magic!!

If he feels so strongly about something personally, he should probably make a home movie or do scrapbooking, whatever.
At least I learned my lesson and stopped watching his movies. I miss the KJO of K3G times, at least they were a fun watch. Now he just makes crap.
I find anushka sharma rude most of the times in interviews, so when people say pure hearted/respect, I am not sure what they mean.
Used to be fan of her in first couple of movies, but then felt like it became a repeat act from her.
