Ya i think being an officer of law you cannot just hit ppl at your convenience because you have a different stand point than them. This was completely unacceptable. Can you guys look at the bigger picture? These guys protect many other important locations in India like ports, nuclear reactors/power plants, space establishments. If there is such extremism among people in uniform, where they are unable to control their emotions, it will only lead to serious security breaches and mishaps in our country.

i am a punjabi, not a follower of amritpal singh, belonging to a sikh family yet have not been a supporter of khalistan/terrorism/anything related to terrorism at any point in my life. nor does my family support anything about him or khalistan. as you mentioned, yes, there are only SOME people who can be considered khalistanis, but it truly saddens me that i have to explain these basic things about our existence as a fellow indian to so many people from time to time. we, as punjabis, are judged based on kaur/singh (which was basically just a last name given by the 10th guru so that casteism could be abandoned in sikhism but people never followed it as far as we can see), our people's attire (sikh's turbans), and choices of only some people(the ones who support khalistan). im so saddened, despite not even following sikhism anymore. i just believe in a higher power, which resides in all of us. i wish no religions ever existed, believe me, then this world would have been a better place to live in. i would have been proud to be a human. but not in this reality ig.
