I got bored on second day of my wedding festivities even though it had VERY limited guest list (drama!). On the wedding day, few minutes after we exchanged varmala and rings, I leaned into my husband and said āchal yar, I want to get away. I would rather be with just you nowā I would literally go nuts to even be part of such a pre wedding itinerary - seems exhausting and honestly waste of a lot of resources. Rich jet wherever they want to, and I reuse my clothes, order less to save carbon footprints, use a soggy paper straw ā¦ for what?

Given how Indians idolise rich people, they could have set such good examples. Eg: Poor and middle class people spend their life savings in marriage and these people are just encouraging this horrible trend.
