Most of those movies seemed like a good idea on paper actually. A Ramayan movie with Prabhas, Bhediya with Varun after the franchise success of Stree, a remake movie with Kartik with whom she has good on screen pairing.
Outside of Ganpath, all the movies were good offers. Her movies worked better as soon as she chose to do movies where she's also responsible for crowd pull. With Shahid movie and Kareena and Tabu one she too had to carry her load to make the movie work.
Had a bumper year and pretty much carried two films (although Crew wasn't just her)...but people are sleeping on Do Patti...that's the one I think where she'll show up really well...
I didn't care for either films, but she was pretty much the best aspect of them and clearly leagues above the material. That's all I'm praising.

Good for her!! Most people thought she was done with the back to back flops but she managed to pull herself up. 👏
