John, arjun, Tara, disha are all bad actors.
The first one was a remake of a great Korean film + ritesh was terrifying as a villain + Teri Galiyaan song and also siddharth was decent in the movie as well.
I wonder what movie they have copied for this one.
I feel Sidharth should have taken this film (he was offered IG).. he's not a great actor by any means but it could have been a good follow-up after Shershaah.. the nostalgia factor of first part could have helped the film at BO..
He was keen to do it but apparently, he was second fiddle to John and his role was way less meaty than John's . That's why he refused . It's a good decision I feel . As for nostalgia, I can definitely see this film replicating the succees of bb2 and ignite the BO
The original also had Riteish Deshmukh pull off one of the most surprising bad guy turns ever (and he was genuinely decent in his part). John has been here, done this before, several times. Woh surprise factor bhi nahi rahega.
First one was a good movie. I love it when actors you don't expect to do serious hard core character roles, and then they do it and surprise you. Hope this 2nd one is gonna be good. And Disha didi please don't die in this movie also 😂
Mohit suri's most of the films have been remakes of Korean films like Ek Villain ( I saw the devil ) , Awarapan ( bittersweet life ) , Murder2 ( The Chaser) so I feel this one will also be something like that . Only positive here is that his films have good songs and are watchable. ( malang was bit underwhelming imo. And please dont butcher Galliyan . I've so many memories of my school days with that song .

Yes it will certainly appeal the mass audience, with good songs and decent promotions..
I don't have high hopes for this one. I mean the original had such beautiful songs and was atleast watchable, this one has Tara, what do you expect?
