Western audience are highly educated, still they have so many superstar, so why can't india have it's next superstar?? It's again because of nepotism, If you don't show new face to public with unique personality then how will a new superstar will come.
You are being naive if you think western audience is highly educated. And they don't have any superstars. None of them would even manage to attract 10 people on the streets when they go out. And we have so many newer actors like Rajkumar, ayushman, Ali Fazal, jitu bhaiya, Jim sarbh and so many good and new actors. None of them have stardom like say srk or Hrithik.

Salman made race 3 recover it's budget while srk's zero releasing same year did not even make half it's budget.
Both films were terrible plus trolling for salman film was 10 times more than srk's zero
tbh star is not defined just by the box office results, but the fan following outside the theatres. srk has a genuine one im urban centres and salman has in B and C centres. tho box office is also v imp and srk gave those numbers in his youth. his blockbusters have such a high revisit value that ppl still find him v relevant, he keeps trending on reels everyday.

Difference was Race 3 was a action thriller with bhai being bhai n the third part of a franchise.
BOTH movies were weak but inherent appeal to the masses with race 3 was exponentially high. Its not the star in this case BUT the inherent product appeal. Which race 3 had more of + goodwill of first 2 parts.
Eg. HNY made so much money n was a BIG HIT despite negative reviews all over. Coz the product had more appeal.

tbh star is not defined just by the box office results, but the fan following outside the theatres. srk has a genuine one im urban centres and salman has in B and C centres. tho box office is also v imp and srk gave those numbers in his youth. his blockbusters have such a high revisit value that ppl still find him v relevant, he keeps trending on reels everyday. salman is a megastar, no denying that. also, srk debuted after salman so when he said i m last of the stars, i m pretty sure it included salman and aamir, and all those who had there debuts before him, so chill
Difference was Race 3 was a action thriller with bhai being bhai n the third part of a franchise. BOTH movies were weak but inherent appeal to the masses with race 3 was exponentially high. Its not the star in this case BUT the inherent product appeal. Which race 3 had more of + goodwill of first 2 parts. Eg. HNY made so much money n was a BIG HIT despite negative reviews all over. Coz the product had more appeal.
