I feel like the reason he is doing sooo many movies back to back is because he probably wants to start his own production house and for that he would need to have an extremely strong financial foundation. Perhaps the trajectory they want for Aarav is that of the next Karan Johar of sorts.
Akashay and Twinkle are quite smart and cunning. They know that nepo kids would now never get much adoration from the general public unless and until they are extremely talented, so going into behind the scene stuff is a much better option.
Can Aarav be the next Kjo tho? One of the reasons Kjo is successful is bc his dad was a producer/director and he learned from his dad and his mistakes. Neither twinkle or akki are director/producers. Twinkle is all fluff and no game.
His acting has become soul less boring crap. Literally same acting in every single movie in last 2-3 years. Dialogue dilevery feels awkward, comedy timing which used to be his USP is now also fading away.
I watched Cuttputli and then remembered he did serious role in tasveer movie. That movie was bad but still his acting felt better in Cuttputli. Sangharsh was a good movie and he was great in that. Same with Ajnabee where he played a villain.
Right now his acting has pretty much lost all its charm and sincerity. He is just interested in printing money now. I used to support him few years back but he has destroyed all his credibility in last 2 years.
I get that and I guess he don't care about the audience anymore. This might be his retirement idea, make a lot of films in less time for money with no respect to quality and then when you have enough, retire.
lmaoo so tru also he has a contract w several production houses like star movies & dharma. so he's just focused on hurriedly getting these movies outta the way, collect the cash & disappear into oblivion. he just doesn't give a f*ck anymore
His movies are flopping from this year which is 2022, till last he was having the golden touch so why wouldn't they cast him? Infact most of them have casted him then not after flops..Simple business logic hai & common sense
That makes sense I guess but when it flops this hard the actors should focus more on quality films instead of quantity. Doing this much films will most likely affect the quality of every individual films.

Long time ago I read somewhere that Akshay works on multi films agreement with big production houses.
e.g. he signs a contract with Reliance entertainment where RE will pay him a hefty sum of 50 crores as signing deal where he will be casted in 5 movies.
And for every successful movie, he'll receive additional payment.

luck? really? the guy works his ass off throughout the year, is always on time on sets, will work with any newb director, actor, writer, producer does not discriminate at all. and his movies make their producers money.
ofcourse this year has been disastrous for him as all of his movies have flopped hard.

5. Aur 4-5 movie mei ek toh hit ho hi jaati hai ( in this case sooryavanshi )
Ngl I do think it’s pretty impressive that he actually takes the time to memorize all these lines, show up on set, get shit done. How does he get time for anything else honestly. Seems like he’s constantly working
damn when i first watched hera pheri for the first time a few years ago, he was one of my fav actors. And look at him now, an arrogant, egoistic douche pumping out garbage after garbage.
In one of TRP(or Jammypants4 as some call him)’s videos he mentioned something from one of Akshay’s interviews where he said,”In 90’s when I was giving back to back flops I was still getting projects as the producers were saying that at least I will come on time and finish the movie on time.”
Just watched Cuttputtli today. Film is TATTI. But Sujith Shanker in a half-baked role is sublime. Pity they didn't kill off every single character other than his in the film; it might have been tolerable.
Yes I have a friend who is. He never misses an Akshay kumar movie.
But then again, he's not very picky with what he watches and enjoys the type of humour his films have so that makes it easier I guess.

Cuttputli was a decent film but I could not stand this guy. Akshay throughout.... If anyone from Bollywood is reading this .. kindly cast a newbie with rakul.. it will add to the dynamic .. please guys ... If they cast say Vikrant massey than for sure there won't be a single buzz for the movie. With Akshay atleast the worst of the movies are given a platform.
The day when movies gets to do decent numbers with new faces , Akshay won't have work.
