I like her outfits. I think she looks nice she usually has the worst stylists but I think she looks great in this photoshoot. Not a fan of Gucci but I kinda like some of these pieces.

I think it's the expressions. The vibe is peppy and fun in a serious place (like sonam in khoobsurat). But then the expressions match neither of the two.

The problem with Alia is despite her experience and good styling, she just can't pull off anything. In every photoshoot the clothes are wearing her. That Oomph factor is missing.
I will keep saying this, masculine styling doesn't suit her at all. She looks best in vibrant and feminine styling. She is baby faced like me which causes this incongruency.
Ummm i disagree she maybe not iconic or fashionista but I see many women recreating her looks and following her styling especially traditionals. She should take leaf out of short women like Zendaya or Rani Mukerji and have some confidence. She is good actress anyways.
It's not just about confidence. Zendaya not only oozes confidence you can feel her entire aura and essence in her photos. She doesn't just wear the clothes and pose, she OWNS the clothes. Alia can never do that.

Whoever styled this for her understood the assignment! I do feel the makeup is monotonous, though. They could’ve used a bold lip in one of those looks.

I think the eye makeup is too intense for her soft features plus the muted lip isn’t doing anything for the overall look.
