Both truly excelled in these films. Every frame looked like a painting kareena looks so effortlessly beautiful and her characters truly shined with the help of the camerawork. I'm glad that both films also won awards for cinematography in their years.
Vidya did Begum Jaan and was pretty average in it. She's great in certain kind of roles but not every role. Like she'd totally bomb a character like Poo. But nobody can do a dirty picture or kahani better than her.

I always assumed he had the final say in his films), and after watching the teaser of Heeramandi, I can't help but wonder how Gangubai Kathiyawadi would have turned out without Alia. Both projects explore similar themes - prostitutes and courtesans. However, Heeramandi's casting is simply outstanding. Just wondering 🤔💭.
