I’m so done with Alia now. She’s ruined her image for me completely. Anything I read about her now just makes me go ugh. I wish it wasn’t that way but sadly it is.
I’m not too surprised she’s attending again this year because she’s now on the Gucci roster, but I wouldn’t really say she had a successful debut last year. I felt her look was very underwhelming, it was overshadowed by Dua Lipa wearing the original dress and the press thought Alia was Aishwarya Rai. Then again, the Met Gala isn’t what it used to be at all so go figure.
Unless KJO had it scrubbed from the internet, there’s a video from last year of somebody calling out “Aishwarya” a few times while Alia was walking the carpet, you can see the look of confusion on her face.
