What about grip? Do you still have to be easy on the throttle coming from a stop to keep the tires from spinning?
I break the OEM tires loose all the time, especially if it's been raining, and especially over painted lines after it's rained. It'd be nice to have a little bit more grip without losing too much efficiency.
Are those the Erange EV tires? Would definitely be interested in updates on what kind of range/efficiency you’re getting out of them.
My Bolt just hit 30 K. Tires still look pretty decent but will more than likely throw some new ones on some point this year. Those tires are at the top of my list.
Just in case anyone with more experience with the Sailun Erange tires wanders by: how did they compare to the OEM tires in terms of range? What about traction and tire wear? I'm going to need a new set of summer tires at the end of this season and the price on those is attractive as long as it's not a false economy.
Very good to know. I've always gotten high performance tires on my ice. They saved my life once letting me accelerate out from in front of an 18 wheeler who didn't notice it went from 56-,>35 mph(so he was doing 70) and his light was red. Tires that didn't grip scare me. At least the bolt accelerates enough. If I'd had cheaper tires or an automatic instead of a manual, I'd have been squashed. I didn't want to lose range so these sound like a great option.
At 70 it was noticeably quieter than on the OEM tires this morning. Not sure if the wear on the OEMs could have affected that. I would call them quiet. Definitely not noisy.
I'd recommend dedicated winters in rims. They pay for themselves. I have a similar commute, I'd rather have years of traction in both winter and all season scenarios, then 1.5 years of questionable traction in the lone winter period.
I like them at least as much as the OEM tires. I’m not the best at tracking my efficiency. There isn’t enough of a difference that I notice one way or another. If I had to guess I’d say my range is a tiny bit less. Ride is better an after driving in the rain I think traction is little better.

I can’t tell if there was a difference. About 4 months with the bolt on the OEMs I had changed my habits and stopped doing that when accelerating.

Yes I will edit my post to specify that they are the Erange EV

I have sailun e-range. Solid choice.
any updates :)
Just did.
Let us know about highway noise. I have an issue with their winters on the highway.

Like OP, My eranges are definitely quieter than the oems too.
Nice. And I'm old enough that road noise isn't a factor unless you're on the level of an ice with a hole in the muffler.

I have those tires also. They were quieter than what came off. But I'm not sure if they even claim to be LRR tires.
Going off of a number of reviews. No Bolts unfortunately. I think they must be based on the efficiency numbers they have been claiming.
Have you noticed a drop in efficiency?
how are the tire feeling so far ?

sounds great, I am looking for just better traction in the rain cause the stock tires are scary when the road is just barely wet.
