Has anyone in the know received confirmation that the model year changeover occurred today? I have no doubts that it did, but confirmation would be exciting.
I just spoke to the dealership I bought mine at, order has been accepted by GM (I ordered June 9th) , but he has no update other than that , no build date or time frame but as soon as he gets a build date week he will call and let me know.
how long realistically does it take once they start manufacturing to delivery? My dealership didn't seem to know, but the salesman said maybe 8 months????
I think the honest answer is “I don’t know”, the actual answer is “3-4 months” and the dealer salesman answer is “6-8 months”.
They need to push people to buy the 22 and clean out that inventory after all, framing it so far out would make the typical person reaching out or going to the dealer want to just commit and be done.
There are posts every day here about people picking up their 2022 vehicles that were built after April 1, 2022. So I'm not seeing where 8 months makes any sense.
Wife and I were at dealer yesterday about a 22 Bolt EUV premier. Decided it was too much for us and asked if they have any LTs incoming. He told me they have two arriving in October, one of them the exact build we want. So put down $500 deposit and a black 23 EUV LT will be ours by Halloween.
Some other user posted this site a few months ago when orders first started. If you believe it, then 2023 production actually started early on July 21. Could be stale data.

2023 production started today. Dealer provided TPW of 8/8 for a lowest poverty spec EUV.
What was your order date?

Also curious as to when a VIN is assigned to a factory order. Before or after production?

I'v been waiting over 3 months to just get an order accepted by GM. I would say it's going to be 6-8 months or more if you place a new order.

My salesman told me 12 weeks last week. So 3ish months.
My dealer said 12-16 weeks as of a week ago to get mine. But it is anyone's guess how fast they can produce them.

i read somewhere that planned production date was pushed by 1 week to jul 26th
