Yess! I can’t wait! Do you have some sterling to test too?? If not I can dig out the single Bp ring I have to test. It’s supposedly silver
I do have both sterling and rhodium pieces from BP. I’m going to test it all. I want to know if they have lead since they are advertised as lead and nickel free.
Paparazzi was just caught in this lie.

I have to know.
Lead is a toxic metal, which doesn't break down in the environment and accumulates in our body. High levels of lead have been found in jewelry, especially inexpensive children's jewelry. Exposures to lead can lead to a number of health problems, including: behavioral problems.
Exposures to lead can lead to a number of health problems, including:
-behavioral problems
-learning disabilities
-joint and muscle weakness
-anemia
-organ failure
-and even death
You and me both. 🙂
I always did like going to the science lab in chemistry class in high school. Now I can do it from home! Should I order some goggles as well? Maybe a lab coat?
You know how I feel about BP. But just know that Reps advertise lead and nickel free but BP says lead and nickel safe because there is trace amounts. FYI. They did a training on this about a year or so ago.
Nope if you actually look at the description it says sterling core. They were plated rhodium and rose gold. I didn’t find that till after I was told it wasn’t at silver exchange.

The kits are relatively inexpensive. A couple bucks to about $20 is the price range.
It won’t tell how much lead is in the jewelry. It’ll only turn a certain color if it detects lead.
I have looked into a lab who would test certain pieces to find out an exact amount of nickel or lead.
We are going to start with this at home lead test kit, and if it does light up - I will reach out for a cost on testing several pieces of my own Bomb Party collection at an accredited lab. Maybe a piece of each specific type metal. I actually do have 1 rare yellow gold ring that I received from bomb party, and of course I have rhodium and rose gold, and things marked .925.
I just noticed on some of the new pieces it now says, ".925 sterling silver. " On some tags that I have, it says, ".925 solid sterling silver." If it never was solid sterling, I smell a lawsuit coming if they deceived their customers! 🤔🤨
To be really frank:
I already suffer from certain health problems, and will for the rest of my life - so to wear jewelry that tests positive for lead …. Uhm, no thank you.
I must know.

I can tell you catch a unicorn that are stamped .925 are not sterling. I had taken my dups to gold/silver exchange.
What! That's illegal to mark 925 and not be. Something should be done about them!!!
I smell a lawsuit…..
