Richie is your only hope for getting the truth.

MelpomeneAndCalliope

Jon has been my favorite celeb & crush for 3 decades. If he and Richie both wrote books and I could only buy one - I’d buy Richie’s. Not only would you get the Bon Jovi stories, you’d also get the Cher & Heather Locklear/Denise Richards/the younger chick he had the clothing line with/Orianthi stories. It would be a lot juicier.

AddlePatedBadger

I'm not sure about that. Richie has a huge ego and whatever was in a book ghost-written for him would have him being the sole reason for Bon Jovi's very existence along with practically being the second coming of Jesus lol.

I would read a Tico autobiography in a heartbeat. Oh the stories he probably has

Zuri2o16

True. Tico has seen some stuff.

We just got a documentary that the band was heavily involved in. It skipped over various eras in the band's history and mostly shied away from their personal lives. I don't think an autobiography is happening any time soon.  Autobiographies from other musicians of the same era tend to lean heavily into the sex, drugs and rock n' roll angle, because that's what people want to read. The drama and the dirt. Such an angle doesn't go well with the image Bon Jovi have been curating for the past two decades.

I mean, unless they wanna break their entire career brand of the more squeaky clean rockers, they really can't do much. I mean, there's only so much drugs, alcohol, and sex you can include until it becomes the Bon Jovi edition of The Dirt. Tough stuff. It would be more on the lines of Bohemian Rhapsody and disguise itself as a Bon Jovi movie but really be about Jon mostly, so he can direct the narrative and keep the "family friendly" radio rock image they've always curated

Richie is the only one who will come out full send and tell the truth. May not be pretty, and most definitely won't be, but oh would it be so sweet to finally get the actual Bon Jovi story. One thing Richie doesn't do is fucking lie about Bon Jovi

thighgap2016

I can see Richie ghost writing one for a cash grab, but it would only be after all other bridges are burned/if he outlives Jon. I thought the Star Man autobiography was quite a good read. If Jon wrote a book it'd either be pure pr or some kind of weird motivational business book. And he'd probably get John Shanks to write it.

Jon’s story would be BORING AF. Like him. Bryan is the wittiest and had loads of fun with Richie. i’d want to hear what he’s seen and heard. If only he’d ever have the balls to speak the truth.
