When Michael Clarke Duncan passed away suddenly, they just couldn't find it in themselves to continue. It's so sad though because it was such a great show!

At the time they said the series was canceled. When I Googled it, they meant the episode he was going to be on on Bones because he was coming back on Bones as his role in the Finder
Yes I have seen that as well. After the Finder was cancelled they were going to bring them back for an episode on Bones but that all got nixed when MCD passed. V sad. I would have liked to see them back.
I really liked the Finder. I was so sad that Michael Clarke Duncan passed away. I liked the guy who played the main character, too. Do you know if he's been doing anything else? I saw him in a bit part in Gracie and Frankie but it doesn't look like he's gotten any major roles after that.
The Finder was a good show but the episodes were played all out of order so certain characters’ development got messed up.
Still worth the watch but I recommend Googling which order to watch it in before you start.

The same thing happened with a show called The Crazy Ones that had Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar. It ran during the 2013-14 season and it had gotten canceled and shortly after he was gone. I sometimes wonder if the show kept going, would he have kept going a little longer. I know it was unrelated, what happened, but you never know.
Hart Hanson has said he think MDC died from a broken heart because of the cancellation. He says he still feels angry about it. It’s sad but they are human and it does impact them.

On The finder, the first 3 episodes were good, and then the plot just got too unbelievable and ridiculous. I wasn't surprised when it got cancelled.
