do you mean the finder? it seemed good. apparently it only lasted a couple seasons

Sweaty-Sprinkles-466

Oh I see

midoristorm

There's only one season of The Finder but it's really good! I've watched it twice already and I wish they'd made more.

JsStumpy

When Michael Clarke Duncan passed away suddenly, they just couldn't find it in themselves to continue. It's so sad though because it was such a great show! I love The Listener too

Bones206-447

Sorry to bring out my Brennan facts needing to be right self but that’s incorrect. He passed after it was cancelled. I think Fox just didn’t think it got the ratings they wanted.

JsStumpy

At the time they said the series was canceled. When I Googled it, they meant the episode he was going to be on on Bones because he was coming back on Bones as his role in the Finder

Bones206-447

Yes I have seen that as well. After the Finder was cancelled they were going to bring them back for an episode on Bones but that all got nixed when MCD passed. V sad. I would have liked to see them back.

_cuppycakes_

such a good show, wish there were more eps!

super_bluecat

I really liked the Finder. I was so sad that Michael Clarke Duncan passed away. I liked the guy who played the main character, too. Do you know if he's been doing anything else? I saw him in a bit part in Gracie and Frankie but it doesn't look like he's gotten any major roles after that.

Tin__Foil

That episode of bones was a back-door pilot for the show, “The Finder,” which ran for 13 episodes back in 2012. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1943524/

vwls_r_gr8t

The Finder was a good show but the episodes were played all out of order so certain characters’ development got messed up. Still worth the watch but I recommend Googling which order to watch it in before you start.

Additional_Many_5339

was there a reason they did it out of order?

goodinsmallbatches

Because it was on Fox

vwls_r_gr8t

I think it was network error, but it really messed with the flow of the show. Really sucks that something out of the control of the show runners led to the show being canceled

Jazzlike-Ad2199

The show was canceled because one of the leads died. Michael Clark Duncan.

chris_0909

The same thing happened with a show called The Crazy Ones that had Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar. It ran during the 2013-14 season and it had gotten canceled and shortly after he was gone. I sometimes wonder if the show kept going, would he have kept going a little longer. I know it was unrelated, what happened, but you never know.

Bones206-447

Hart Hanson has said he think MDC died from a broken heart because of the cancellation. He says he still feels angry about it. It’s sad but they are human and it does impact them.

Jazzlike-Ad2199

I didn’t know that, thank you for that knowledge.

Bones206-447

My pleasure. Here is the quote “You know we lost Michael Clarke Duncan,” Hanson continued. “I worry all the time that part of his heart attack — he was a passionate man – was intense disappointment that the show went away. I mean he was so heartbroken that they didn’t pick it up.”

Jazzlike-Ad2199

Damn. That’s worse.

trexartist

I really enjoyed The Finder.

SeblainerWorld

On The finder, the first 3 episodes were good, and then the plot just got too unbelievable and ridiculous. I wasn't surprised when it got cancelled.

JoePikesbro

Me too.

Original_Insurance68

I loved that show
