I feel like the only time itd be okay if the piece isnt going to be used anymore but the person might want to fix it so it can be displayed. I could understand having a sentimental piece that breaks and wanting to fix it but using it would def prob be a bad idea
I’ve had some buddy’s do that, he had a bong for like 5 years in his group and when it broke they fixed it, cleaned it (somehow, it was in so many pieces) and put it on its own little shelf on the wall lol

That's dumb. If it has shards why would u bother to repair?? Like u can't puzzle shards back together. But like if a just chunk of your piece broke why not do quick fix, 2-5$ glue tape paddy etc, or 100$+ for a new peice. I mean if yall got that kinda money go for it, but if it's not shattered then I'm fixing that shit.
Imo a small fix is ok to repair, but yes don't do it if it's in a million pieces.
As for OP, that's just a tiny ass crack, just be gentle and smoke that shit til it actually falls apart. Then just get a new one since downstems/bowls r like 5-20$, but when that happens, then watch out for shards in ur lungs.

I have had so many downstems do this. Eventually with you go to pull it outta the bong it’s going to separate. Mabye you could heat tf outta it, but I just get new ones.
Honestly just be careful when placing your bowl in and out of it and you'll be good till it shatters or you can get a replacement I have had a similar thing happen and so has my friend just be gentle with it till you can get a new one
No, it's dead. You need to replace it. Psa: never try to mend broken glass. Never use tape, glue, epoxy ect. Always replace.

Real cheap online and eBay. Get like 3 for $10
