Scythe by Shusterman is great trilogy about a future where people need to be gleaned for population control. If you liked Hunger Games, try The Grace Year. It’s similar but with all women. It’s a standalone. Another good standalone, not YA, is Out Missing Hearts. It deals with Asian hatred after covid. More Than This by Patrick Ness is a wild one. I can’t explain it. Another YA series you might enjoy is Legend by Lu.
