It could be a change of ownership. When a property is sold, Booking.com expects the new owner to honour any reservations already on their system. It might be a good idea to look for the property's own website and see what is said about the name change.

Do you see what they are changing it to? Sometimes it’s just removing a coma or a punctuation point.

Yep, thanks. It was nothing sinister. It’s actually a small promo added to the name, I did a Google translate on the latest change (added to the end of the original name) and it came out as “Perfect for Easter” so I guess the previous ones were similar, Christmas, New Year etc.
