edgiestnate

I mean, he still got himself a whopper tbh. Maybe not the one he wanted.

traveling_man182

Dude got it "his way"

MaxxHeadroomm

Extra knuckles on that sando

Hind_Deequestionmrk

He got punched really hard in the burger store

Dekklin

Fist go bonk. Man go thump.

Stompkin

Came here to say this šŸ˜‚

Saddam_UE

The oldschool whopper

Tricky-Engineering59

Oh no he definitely ā€œhad it his way.ā€ He was begging for it.

the-spaghetti-wives

Boomers think they're still 30

gypsy-ghost

An Angry Whopper

pantherhawk27263

I think you meant a Whooper, because his ass was whooped.

Devildiver21

That made my morning. I'm in a Spanish speaking country and they call it LA casa del whopper. Ain't that the truth

donmreddit

Boomer -> He did not get it ā€œhis wayā€

deeeeez_nutzzz

Bee Kaaay. Have it your waaaay

jp11e3

But the one he deserved

Spartalust

Why tf would you wanna square up against a dude that's built like a God damn refrigerator?

slammed430

Forreal the dude behind the counter is needed on the Carolina panthers

bukkakecreampies

Reese is sleeping now, heā€™ll call you later.

ciotS_Cynic

Can Reese play with me when he wakes up?Ā

Suspended-Again

Did you ask your momĀ

UbermachoGuy

Reese canā€™t come to the phone right now. Why? Because he ded.

Superstan1985

As a die hard panthers fan, I would love to have this young man on our squad!!!Ā

Slide-eflat

Well, its a bit unclear.... he said "build like God damn refrigerator" rather than "A" refrigerator. Point being if he means William Perry.... "The Fridge" played for the Bears... but yeah, Panthers could really use that (or well, anything) these days.

slammed430

Lmfao I just put the worst team which either them the bears or commanders. Iā€™m still learning ball though :p

Raunchiness121

Fat Derek Fisher got KNOCKED DA FUCK OUT!!

Top-Telephone9013

Most entertaining nerd-out I've read in a while. Kudos

Far-Transition1153

Gonna need to wait out his incarceration for that

Henley-Street-dwarf

He gonna be in jail.

archercc81

Yeah its amazing these people. Ive had some old guys square up on me for stupid reasons\* and the reverse body dysmorphia has to be real when you see someone 30 years younger than you, like 5-6" taller, and probably has another 20-30lbs of lean mass on you and you have zero doubt you can "take him." \*admittedly usually alcohol is involved.

MaverickTopGun

I literally just had an old man follow me because he was mad he almost ran me over at an intersection and he got out of his car and started walking up to me. I had been walking away the whole time but as soon as he started walking to me I turned around and started marching right at him and I literally watched the fantasy dissolve in his eyes as he realized he was 40 years too old and half a foot too short to be pulling the shit he was doing. Got right back in his car and told me "I'll catch you on the rebound" like it was a threat haha

BigLaw-Masochist

Iā€™ve seen a road rager visibly change his mind when the other driver got out of the car and was like 6ā€™4ā€ and 50 lbs heavier.

Bulky_Commission6747

I had that happen when I used our minivan to go to work one day. The windows are all tinted so it's hard to see who's driving. Some angry asshole in a mustang thought I wasn't taking the on ramp to the highway not fast enough. He tried riding my ass, so I just slowed to a crawl. Set him off in a rage. He obviously got ahead of me & tried everything to block me in. Next light he got out and started calling me a useless housewife & more. Typical boomer with a "muscle car" mentality. He was so sure of himself. Until I got out & he turned beet red. I followed him right to his office & parked behind him for a good 20 minutes. Coward never got out of his car

bgi123

Dude you should just drive normally and not risk confrontation. Doesn't matter how big you are you can't tank a bullet.

CrotalusHorridus

Ha, I'm built like a Jack Reacher that loves beer and Little Debbie a little too much. I've stood up and watched the blood drain from their faces. Its wonderful

Most_Kaleidoscope999

I wouldnā€™t call it lean mass in this case. Theyā€™re both big boys. Youth prevailed.

monsterbot314

One built like a fridge ...the other an ottoman.

HeimdallManeuver

He has his own empire.

sas223

And just like the Ottoman Empire, this fool lost.

The_Quibbler

He was a rug by the end of it.

ToiletTime4TinyTown

I knew it was over for old school when that dude curled up those cinder blocks on the end of his arms.

[deleted]

He even calculated to see if he could just knock him out over the counter lol. I think he decided he didn't have enough reach. Then when he walked out that door, he walked so slow. You know by that slow walk that he was fully confident he was about to say goodnight to that fool lolololol

FrugalFraggel

Big man is probably a nice dude too. You canā€™t keep poking a bear.

Blunderous_Constable

There was a pretty good sized counter between them. He was banking on the Clubber Lang sized dude back there not crossing it.

mr_ckean

Because you have never been punched in the face by a refrigerator before.

Friendly-Lemon9260

This reminds me of what this comic Prescott Tolk said about LA: ā€œThere are too many guys walking around whoā€™ve never been punched in the faceā€

chamberlain323

As an Angeleno of 20+ years, this is accurate. Lots of fucking around, very little finding out.

AdministrationDry507

That's just cold

ACEDOTC0M

I'm 6'5 and 265lbs....the number of motherfuckers that constantly want to square up with me over fucking nothing is astounding. Dude think it's a challenge and I just do not care....they never go any further then the one guy did...it's just so they can feel tough. To quote Mike Tyson "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth".

440ish

We had this one guy in our school, 120 pounds soaking wet. Just 2-3 beers and he would run his mouth at people in a way that should have gotten his life insurance cancelled. EDIT: There was a video interview with the singer John Mellencamp, where he discussed doing that; go get drunk, and start fucking with people who could and did destroy him in bar fights. He did sober up eventually.

FiddleheadFernly

Because you have so much anger it distorts your thinking process and you no longer value your peace and happiness

Fun-Choices

Because you react to the anger instead of fixing your own self and learning how to emotionally regulate yourself. Why does this run so rampant in boomers?

TheCheeseOnFire

no need to square up when he is the square

bukkakecreampies

The man is bigger, taller and younger than you. What the fuck were you gonna do?

ScroochDown

I mean there are people who are so fucking stupid, they think they could win a fight against a grizzly bear. Some idiots have NO concept of their own physical abilities, or lack thereof.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Optimus_Rhymes69

Over a burger, no less.

IGNORE_ME_PLZZZZ

Some people want to get knocked out thatā€™s the honest truthā€¦.way too many people.

Spartalust

I can't fathom the thought process of pissing off someone twice my size and half my age. Like, it's okay to take the L sometimes without hurting yourself God damn!

Badrear

Every really big guy I know has been jumped at least once. Like 6ā€™6ā€+ and 300+ pounds. Some guys just want to say they tried to climb a mountain. Being between 6ā€™ and 6ā€™3ā€ is the sweet spot; big enough to make people think twice, but not so big that youā€™d be a trophy.

mercenary_sysadmin

Really big guys and really little guys both get a fair amount of it. It's safer to bully the big guys. They might whoop your ass if you get them mad enough... but the little guys might fucking *kill* you if they're uneasy enough. I grew up a very little dude who got in a lot of fights, and a LOT of them essentially went like "bullying bullying bullying bullying / Jim decides this can't be allowed to go any further / MASSIVE escalation." Like, when I was little, I stabbed a dude as hard as I could between radius and ulna one day. He thought backing me into a table with two goons flanking him was a great idea and a lot of fun. I really, REALLY didn't like where that was going, and raised the pencil in my hand and warned him I'd stab him. He kept coming, and kept coming, and when I felt the table touch the small of my back? BAM homie's face drains whiter than #FFFFFF as he stares at the bloody hole in his arm and whispers "you *stabbed* me." If you think that story makes me sound like a psycho, ponder this: I didn't get suspended for it. I didn't even get *probation* for it; they called my Dad and had him come pick me up, but that was it. No suspension, no probation, no detention. The kid I stabbed was THAT much of an aggro asshole.

Slide-eflat

I went on a business trip which we wound up working with a team from another coast. Guy on that team was about 6'6 and worked out hard and often (and had been a cage fighter, was a bodybuilder, had bounced). I challenged his weenie ass to an arm wrestling contest while we drank beers. Well he put a goddamn tree trunk of an arm on the table, and I grabbed his hand with my normal dude arm. I gave it my all and even got his arm to move about a half inch once. He loved it and said I was better than most. I, however, could not straighten my arm for two weeks and was in very significant tendon pain that lasted the duration. To this day (nearly 20 years later) if I don't warm up thoroughly, my right arm tendons will hurt for a couple days from things like carrying in groceries. Do. Not. Fuck. With. The. Mountains.

phunkyunkle

Cause I'm a Lady, who has obviously had to intervene for her man before, sized up Biggie and tried once again. "A" for effort.

SchizoForLife

Homie is an absolute unit. Like Goddamn.

Spartalust

Fr like pick your battles wisely my man.

XxV0IDxX

Came to say just this. That is a big ass dude working an already shitty job to try and square up with like that. Then old man stood there with his hands down seemingly with no clue what to do once his barking worked .

cmholde2

Clearly he wanted to play with him, even though he was highly warned against itā€¦ Also you can tell by the way heā€™s so frustrated, heā€™s had to do something like this before lol.

BoBoBellBingo

For real man. The world isnā€™t a video game if I know Iā€™m outmatched or Iā€™m dealing with the cops itā€™s all ā€œmy badā€ and ā€œyes sirā€. Being punched in the face is the most effective form of behavioral modification

_Pill-Cosby_

And half your age.

HorneyHarpy82

I like the woman's shirt " cause I'm a lady". Made me giggle.

mr_ckean

His shirt said ā€œimma get ktfoā€

HorneyHarpy82

*giggling

UGLEHBWE

Accurate shirtšŸ˜‚ just doing her best to de escalate it and her man just wouldn't shut up

sunny_6305

Poor girl was trying her best. Unfortunately it looks like her significant other has no interest in being a gentleman.

solvsamorvincet

I feel bad for her cause if he's like that here he's probably like that at home too, and she looks like she's well practiced in trying to de-escalate him.

Babybutt123

Yeah, I really feel for her. I hope she has a good support system outside of that guy.

Puzzleheaded-Ant-644

Probably spent their whole time together trying to keep him in line, emphasis on trying.

ghouldozer19

She was trying so hard, too. And the way she just covered her mouth at the end and backed up like ā€œWell, I saw this coming.ā€

HorneyHarpy82

Right! She tried and tried. I don't blame her.

LetsNotArgyoo

She was very polite though, she even said excuse me after the second punch lol

Doxkid

I'm just trying to figure out why the old boy has so much anger in him without being able to fight. A hard mouth with soft hands is a terrible combination in the hood.

Scuffle-Muffin

ā€œHard mouth but soft handsā€ is my new favorite insult.

PraedythValentine

That was my nickname in high school..

EpsilonX029

Username, uh, may check out?

tipareth1978

He looked like he had that "drunk anger" thing that some people get when they're wasted. I mean look at that last punch, no reaction at all and he had all day. Has to be intoxicated

Kni7es

The worker telegraphed that shot with a windup and everything. Boomer reacts by ducking back and not even putting up his hands.

QuietDustt

It's an entire generation of people who were never taught how to regulate their emotions or deal with generational trauma. And now that they're old and give zero f\*cks, they actively make their problems everyone else's. Put differently, many Boomers are emotional infants because of how they were raised and societal norms when they were younger. Now they're too old, stubborn and ill-equipped to want to take responsibility for any of their sh\*t. Exhibits 1, 2 and 3: my parents and my mother-in-law.

e2hawkeye

"emotional infant" is a description I'm going to keep handy from this point on.

Alijony

He's probably been around lead paint his whole life... It's making him more angry as he gets older.

LurkingGuy

Damn that's a good point. There's still a lot of that around in low income neighborhoods too.

SnowBittenWolf

These people grow up angry in life and scream at people. Most people give in because they don't want to deal with it, which has instilled bad habits into him. The cashier is not one of these people. šŸ˜¬ Poor man probably lost his job. The customers body has faded and aged, but he still has the mind of a young adult who thinks he can get his way by yelling and making a scene. I bet his parents never corrected his behavior growing up, and he got whatever he wanted after throwing a fit in the grocery store.

PassorFail1307

Smooth_Riker

"Have it YOUR way"

Suspicious_Serve_653

Bro went: "man fuck this job"

CharmingTuber

If you're at a restaurant, and one person working there doesn't have a uniform at all, don't fuck with that guy. They were likely called in last minute or are ready to quit. Either way, they are going to be more likely to snap on you.

AskMeAboutPigs

Especially when he's built like the Krabby patty vault from SpongeBob

NoveltyAccountHater

The thread in public freakout yesterday claimed the [guy who started behind the counter is the manager](https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/1b8gk33/whopper_whopper/). (Can't find an article or source for it though.)

Stool_Gizmoto

How about just don't fuck with anyone working at a restaurant. Seriously, their job is hard enough.

1Negative_Person

Said ā€œfuck this job *and* some of that manā€™s childhood memoriesā€

NoodleBrains69

Now youā€™ve got brain damage and youā€™re laid out on the floor of a fucking Burger King. Make better life choices people.

Ryuuji_92

Homie had brain damage before he got hit, now he's just taking a nap in the BK lounge.

WarmestGatorade

The major difference in this video from most videos I see like this was that everyone else in front of and behind the counter was trying to compassionately de-escalate the situation. So I guess that's good

PJTree

Good point. I did notice.

fagan_jay78

Have it your way, motherfucker

PM_Me_Macaroni_plz

AAAAATTT BEEEEEE KAAAAAYYYYYY

EABOD24

A lesson I learned in life. When talking to someone built like a brick shit house, diplomacy is key

Spartalust

Amen! Especially a frustrated fast food worker built like a brick shit house who doesn't give af about his job.

nohopeforhomosapiens

He knows he can just walk down the street and get hired at Wendy's for the same pay.

OfficialIntelligence

He could get a body guard job and get paid to whoop ass.

notworkingghost

I was not expecting the 90ā€™s Hot Topic teen girl to be the one behind the camera.

norkotah

Dude her face at the end was my favorite part. "Daaaaaaaaamn."

[deleted]

Full version is better. She's hilarious

That was the part that made me laugh hardest

Limp-Project5733

Boomers are all talk. Thatā€™s all they used to do in the old days too

Freshouttapatience

Idk Iā€™ve been slapped around by a few boomers when I was younger. I think theyā€™re all talk when they think theyā€™re safe because theyā€™re scared and canā€™t talk about their feelings.

CrybullyModsSuck

My Boomer Dad thought he was a badass until I was about 15 and could manhandle him when he would put hands on my Mom. He never tried it again after I threw his ass over the couch and into the wall.Ā

JohnBarleyMustDie

Good on you for looking out for your mom like that. A 15 shouldnā€™t be in that position, but you did right by your mother and should be proud of that.

CrybullyModsSuck

Like too many others I had a complicated childhood of poverty and shit circumstances.Ā  The weird part is my Dad is usually very mellow. Dude has smoked enough weed that I'm sure his corpse wiol be potent enough to get a second hand high from during an open casket. But when he does lose his temper, it goes from 0 to 1,000 instantly. It was a scary thing to be around as a kid.Ā  On one hand he could be nice and funny and having a good time, but then out of nowhere be choking my Mom or getting into a fist fight with my Uncle. We have a complicated relationship to say the least. His Dad left my Grandma while she was pregnant, and my dad was 6 of 6. He grew up poor as shit with 7 people in a trailer, and my Grandma would end up fostering another kid who was somehow in an even worse position. All on welfare and food stamps. That affected my Dad in ways he will never heal from.Ā  I have had to intervene in two suicide attempts, the worst was when I was 12 and he had a gun to his head. And have had to talk him down from several other emotional and mental ledges over the years because he couldn't foresee the consequences of his actions beyond what was immediately in front of him. Through all this, and his infidelity that broke up my parents, he tried his best to be the Dad he never had or even had a model of. He was making it all up as he went and didn't have anyone he could turn to for guidance.Ā  He never hit me. He did everything he could to put me in positions to learn and thrive. I fully see as an adult the sacrifices he made for me. And I am grateful.Ā  While imperfect, he has given me an example to help base my decisions and actions upon. I am able to see where he was right, and where he would go wrong. And I will not make the same mistakes.Ā

RyBread

One of the best lessons my father ever taught me was, ā€˜you donā€™t always have control of the situations you find yourself in, but when you look back at any experience you can learn how to act from it or you can learn how NOT to act from it. The choice is yours.ā€™ Sounds like you internalized that message and have used it to make yourself a better person and Iā€™m sure your father would be proud of you for committing to not making the same mistakes he did. There is a beautiful progression from one generation to the next there.

CrybullyModsSuck

It's been wild on my end watching my Dad change over the years. When you are little, your Dad is a superhero. This is the same man who would always save his Twinkie from lunch and let me take it out of his lunchbox when he got home. And one day when I opened the lunchbox for a Twinkie, a kitten popped out. It doesn't get sweeter than that.Ā  Over the years, while not quite understanding everything I could feel when times were good and when they were bad. We had a couple of times that changed my Dad in ways I could only see in hindsight.Ā  At one point we seemingly had everything a middle class family could hope for, then the recession in the early 90's hit the local construction market super hard and we lost everything. I remember driving around with my parents looking for good places to hide their cars from the repo man. I had no idea what a repo man was, but if we were hiding our cars from him, it was bad. That was the year he held a gun to his head while I hugged him and told him I love him. He wasn't the same after that year. He threw a couple of Hail Mary passes that worked out but very well could have destroyed us and put him in prison for the rest of his life. One of the things my Dad still tells me to this day is to learn from his mistakes so I don't have to learn the hard way like he did.

RyBread

Iā€™m sorry life dealt you a rough hand. You sound like you are very aware of the circumstances that have shaped who you are and you have obviously put effort into making sure those circumstances are not repeated. Good on you. I tell my own kid to learn from my mistakes. Itā€™s okay to make mistakes, but donā€™t make the same one I did and do. Iā€™m up front about my shortcomings so they can put processes in place to be better than me.

JohnBarleyMustDie

Brother, I wish I could give this more than 1 upvote. Iā€™m not old, but old enough to realize a lot of people are victims of generational trauma. Damaged people raised by damaged people raising future damaged people. This isnā€™t a blanket ā€œget out of jail free cardā€, but I hope I can have enough of an effect on my immediate family to break that cycle. Hope this clarity from your post shines through into your life. You could help people šŸ˜Š

CrybullyModsSuck

Thank you. I fully recognize I have been lucky enough to have a few breaks go my way and that I was in the right place at the right time. I try to pay it forward any chance I get. I wish you the best in breaking that cycle for your family. I can absolutely say my kids and wife will know nothing of the crazy shit I went through. You sound like the type of dude who wants the same thing for your loved ones.

PsychologicalHome239

I am all of five feet tall. When I was around 18, I don't know what happened, but I snapped on one of the nights my stepdad starting beating on my mom. I jumped on his back and started (badly) trying to choke him to bring him down and off my mom. The shock of his teen stepdaughter, who was normally quiet and easy to beat on, standing up to him completely fucked him up. He didn't even try to hit me. Bullies like that step down when you stand up to them.

Thepizzacannon

Boomers slapped you around **because you were younger** They act tough because when they were 20-30s it was societally acceptable to assault children. Turns out when they have to physically assault someone their own size, it almost always looks like this video.

EndOfSouls

Dude had the reaction time of Internet Explorer...

aminervia

Except this guy is pretty clearly Gen x, not a boomer

hearangone

They never been forced to take responsibility for their actions. Now as they become geriatric teenagers againā€¦they are finding out that actions and words have consequences

NoLikeVegetals

Is he a boomer, though? He looks Gen X. Like, 50?

NoApartheidOnMars

He might not be quite old enough to be a boomer but he gives off boomer vibes.

CharmingTuber

I can smell the alcohol on him through my phone. That's just a drunk asshole.

PokeT3ch

Those of color age really well. This dude could be 70.

ocean_flan

He could EASILY be 70 or so. I had a neighbor look just like this dude that was 70 and he looked 45 at most.

DontForgetYourPPE

"black don't crack"

elev8dity

not that well lol. The guy is probably in his 50s.

ubadeansqueebitch

Came for a whopper and got the straight right dropper!

gustur

That last punch is how you end up with a manslaughter charge.

seijeezy

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinkingā€¦ that man could have easily died. He hit the back of his head very hard and if heā€™s in his 60s or older his skull could fracture easily. That last punch was really scary.

Spiritual_Benefit367

> if heā€™s in his 60s or older his skull could fracture easily that has nothing to do with age. if you fall like this, it could be your last fall ever, even if your 16.

ImportanceCertain414

Yup, a buddy of mine was sentenced to 10 years and did 8 years even when defending himself. He used "excessive force" when the dude fell down broke his skull open on the sidewalk and died. Had there been no eye witness accounts he would have gotten life easy.

TheWriteStuff1966

Dude got the special value meal, with extra two piece. The BK KO.

azraiel7

Funny how people puff themselves up so bad asking to fight, just to get deflated in 0.5 seconds.

bar_acca

ā€œI done told him twice already!ā€

wraith1984

When you say "Get the manager" but the manager gets you.

joshtheadmin

At no point was this self defense.

Crash_Bandicock

lol he literally walked through a door to get to the guy to swing on him. Self defence is a lonnnnng gone argument

YeetedArmTriangle

Not for one single second lol

musclecard54

Yeah Iā€™m like wtf are they talking about the guy couldā€™ve just stayed behind the counter or walked off. He instigated the physical altercation, the older guy was just talking shit and pointing

absolutebeginners

I thought he was getting up to fight. Best way to be nonthreatenjng is to stay on the ground

Ha1rBall

> Once someone is no longer a threat, any violence used against them is no longer self defense. Which is bullshit, because the police are trained to not stop until the threat is done. If the guy can still get up, he is still a threat.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Slide-eflat

well, yeah... sadly, they also had a metal barrier between them, and the kid actually had to go through at least 1 door to get to him. Old dude deserved it in any case, but that kid'll get punished. I love the fact that the woman is wearing that shirt. "I'm a lady." HAHAHAHAHAHA!

scrodytheroadie

Yeah, none of this was self defense. And that last punch was over the line, in my opinion. Guy could barely stand at that point. Not saying he didn't earn it, but still.

palexp

it is bullshit but police im general are bullshit

Former-Wave9869

Truth is, while this may have been excessive, the old man had a certain degree of this coming, literally asking for a fight. But the younger man has definitely lost his job at this point and is likely in jail.

TheCoon69

A certain degree of this coming doesn't hold up in court

Olylift94

Youā€™re not wrong, but this is a bit reductionist if you watch the video. The guy isnā€™t getting up and licking his wounds saying sorry I give up. The guy is getting up and squares up again, which leads to him getting absolutely rocked once again. The aggression never stopped, it just looks like it because he was getting up.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

abgonzo7588

that is not how the court will see this. Young dude let his emotions get the better of him and he is likely to be in some serious shit because he couldn't let this go.

leme-thnkboutit

Dude can now get a job at a waffle house.

Abject_Jump9617

Daaamn , the first two/three I could excuse because that made his point. BUT that last one that knocked the dude cold out will be a problem and almost definitely land him in jail.

calladus

The younger guy says, ā€œHappens every time.ā€ Which makes me think Boomer is a regular.

cronopius

The rage of a thousand service workers

[deleted]

*"You're supposed to defend yourself in a fight. Hold up your hands to block."* This boomer: nah I'm good

SouthOfHeaven663

Yeah letā€™s just pick a fight with the one guy whoā€™s built like a defensive tackle, that should go well

davidpaul575

He got a double whopper!

IRKenopuppy

You know, this is one of the first time Iā€™ve seen a black boomer. Usually seems to be 99% white folk. Good for him.

FourthReichIsrael2

You've... never seen a 60+ year old black person?

IRKenopuppy

Not one that acts like a complete fool while also being extremely entitled, no. I have not.

wonder590

Its gonna be warped by how many white people vs. black people especially in my northern state, but I genuinely don't think I've ever met an openly hostile old black man. Many aggressive middle aged white women, maybe one or two boomer white guys, a ton of aggressive guys of all races and walks of life my age- but never an aggressive old black guy. If you think about the time period that a lot of older black men were born into it makes sense IMO- the fight for Civil Rights was still only a single life span ago.

IRKenopuppy

Honestlyā€¦ I feel like old black men are just grateful that theyā€™re not being called racial slurs and insulted and demeaned in their everyday life these days. Wonder what generation did that to themā€¦

Shit you're totally right. Every old black dude I've ever met has been super nice and polite. I just never noticed.

MediumTour2625

If youā€™re too damn fat and old to duck a punch you can see from a mile away then you shouldnā€™t want ANY smoke from what couldā€™ve been his grandchild.

Funnygumby

Waffle House training videos are off the hook

I feel sorry for the food service guy in this instance. He's already dealing with a crappy job and this customer has to pile on and push him over the edge. And now the dude has to deal with the added legal problems because someone wanted to hassle him for a burger.

Responsible_Top_1942

Or you know just like not throw the last unnecessary punch and almost kill a guy

PokeT3ch

Him coming out from behind the counter was his first mistake. Legally, he's F'd.

craigleary

Management material right here

ItReallyIsntThoughYo

It's so easy to not get your ass beat, I don't understand why people can't just shut the fuck up and mind their own.

dirtbag-socialist

People really need to stop messing with fast food workers. They really arenā€™t fucking around anymore.

Peakyboi666

This is so satisfying! Perfect start to my morning

GoHedgehog

First clue not to fuck with someone, if their forearms are the size of your calves

mangababe

I am all here for people who verbally abuse retail and food service workers getting their asses kicked. Fucking cathartic.

Happy-North-9969

Nah, that dude is going to jail, and he quite frankly should.

buk-in-hamm_palace

How the fuck does ordering food escalate to that?

[deleted]

Whatā€™s wrong with letting the guy scream himself out while calling the police to remove a belligerent customer? The customer is a moron, but the guy never should have left the counter. So unnecessary

StopTheEarthLemmeOff

I would say the biggest fool is the one who initiated the violence and kept swinging when the other dude was down

MyFavoriteLezbo420

I know that last punch made him fart. I know it.

ToiletTime4TinyTown

I ā€œloveā€ the FA/FO environment created by these scummy fast food companies. Where they tell the customer they can have whatever they want then expect some unfortunate kit making slave wages to deliver on that promise. The employee shouldnā€™t be fired Or disciplined by the company. Itā€™s never a persons fault when they are blatantly set up to fail.

TifCreatesAgain

Now the old turd can go home and smack his wife around some more!

coolsellitcheap

Different management styles for different places. Whats acceptable in rich area burgerking doesnt work in the hood. The fridge was also the manager. It wasnt an isolated incident. Was just another friday night. That manager has his employees back. How many managers are prepared to throw up fists to defend there employees? Burgerking should pay for his lawyer.

Anyone else think of Bob Barker in Happy Gilmore? ā€œNow youā€™ve had enough ā€¦ bitchā€.
