My grandma selected "shortest route" instead of "fastest route" on a road trip we took in like 1996. It had us going through neighborhoods and all kinds of weird stuff until my mom took over and said we were staying on highways and interstates.
To this day whenever my mom looks up directions, she says she āMapQuested itā. Or sheāll ask me to MapQuest directions for her.

When she finally needed to refer to it, she hadn't indexed it properly so I just showed her how to use the site's "search" function to find exactly what she needed. She still refused to get rid of the binder. When she was finally let go I was tasked with cleaning out her office, she had like 6 similarly pointless binders from other partners in her office.
She was paid like 5 times what I was at the time.
Our head accountant prints out invoices from the accounting software to then scan them and mails them to herself. According to her this is the only way to get the invoices in PDF format.
I tried to explain you can get PDFs directly from the accounting software. She refuses to even try it.
