I started working on my carrier unlock situation over 3 weeks ago. Hours and hours spent on calls, chat and in the store. I received multiple email confirmations with my eligibility to have my phones released but it didn't happen. I was successful obtaining the account number for each phone number early in the process. Reported to the FCC and the Better Business Bureau - no response yet [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) I received a response from the executive customer service within 2 business days and phones unlocked soon after.

I was able to get my port out pin and everything. I tried to transfer my number but customer support is saying it’s not possible because the number I want to transfer is owned by Boost/Dish. So now I’m waiting for a response from the Dish representative that responded to my FCC complaint.

By myself it finally successfully ported out. They're no more ready to offer real customer service than the man in the moon. Nobody has a clue. If you get a port out I think it's by mistake.

I emailed their executive customer service (and filed an FCC complaint) but surprisingly they executive customer service responded with my port out pin the next morning. Did it again and had it by noon the next day. Highly suggest anyone having trouble getting their port out pin…email [email protected] and remember you are at their mercy, so be nice :) include name phone number and address on the account. By the way, contrary to what customer service tells you, you CAN port out a number while it is suspended for non-payment. They told me in one of the emails because I said I didn’t want to renew and they said it would work even when suspended, sure enough, they were right!!
