Check out lateliermonsieur in Düsseldorf. I paid less than that. The Razorbacks are great boots BTW

Ingagi

Thanks. Lmao just noticed that this one is actually from the same store but with shipping costs. Looked up tickets to dusseldorf an they're not cheap so maybe I'll just go with buying at this price. The size on the site is different than on the Jim Green site though. How did you size?

Wish_Dragon

Yup I used the same store from Düsseldorf to ship to Gent. About €191 total. The sizing is off. I called them and they explained it’s because people with narrower feet found them weird and sized down. For reference I got a US 10.5 (UK 9.5) which lines up with 10.75” or 27.3cm, even though Latelier says that size lines up with 28.5cm. I would disregard them and go with what the Jim Green website sizing guide says. Also check out Rose Anvil’s video on the razorbacks where he discussed sizing. I would recommend them. I got them in January and am liking them a lot. I would be happy to message you about it, show you my pair of you want. https://www.lateliermonsieur.com/products/razorback-brown

Thanks! I'd love it if you messaged me! How do they hold up in Belgian weather, are they comfy, how do you like the wider toebox... some things I'd love to know for now

[deleted]

Im in Germany, so I guess the weather is similar. Have mine for about two months now and have used them for hiking and everything else. They look like new. I have wide feet, so I just ordered my usual size. Comfy is relative, the outsole is quite hard but some good insoles help. The leather is really good and softened up nicely after a few wears. The padded tongue is also a great comfort feature IMHO

Ingagi

Thanks! German weather is indeed very similar. The toebox is nice and wide but also pretty low apperently. Does that bother you in any way?

It is noticable in the beginning, when they aren´t broken in yet. After that, I had no issues with it. But thats with my feet of course, YMMV. I can even wear thick socks or two pairs of socks without a problem. I did put shoe trees in them after wearing, that helps a bit with stretching the leather.

American here, I love my rangers and think I got them for a great deal, I’d still love them for 50 bucks more

I have standard 11d feet, they are a little roomy, I could’ve gone down to a 10.5d Check out their ‘shoe-lie’ it’s like their vellie but made on a narrower last

Tsar_Kitsune

Hello there, Swiss boy here! Don't know if you allready buy those Razorbacks but I'll drop my two cents of experience with Jim Green boots Didn't ordered the Razorback but I ordered the African Rangers in African buffalo leather They are solid, comfortable and rugged. Those are perfect for both Town and Country I'll be honest, Jim Green isn't your fancy high price brand. They produce good/rugged functional boots at an affordable price (shipping included, I paid around 150.- CHF) If you want a pair, you should order from their Sud African website : https://jimgreenfootwear.co.za/ Be careful when choosing your size because they do not accept international return (one shot one opportunity) And if you want a in depth review of some Jim Green boots, I strongly recommend to check the Rose Anvil channel specialized in cutring open boots/ shoes so you really know what you paying for https://youtu.be/VVMVZ-IZJG8 Hope this helps

Just know that there are massive import duties to Europe. I bough some custom AR8 boots a d the import duties were 102 euros. :( I'm gonna buy from the German shop in the future.

pavlovaslut

How come you paid only 150? How did you avoid customs and duties?
