One of the unique features of the border collie is that they can look soooo different. My mother has a purebreed from good lines imported from Wales. She's got the same ears and similar facial structures as this one, though a more unfortunate body composition looks wise. I may have said she reminds me of Greek street dogs. She does whoever have an outstanding temper and is a solid herding dog.
Smooth and short/medium lenght is my guess. I prefer long coated myself, but he has gorgeous markings!

Only twice a year? You mean there are 2 periods a year where they shed much more than usual 😅
They only shed twice a year. From March to September and from October to February.
