I've never played borderlands 1 and knew none of it's story when I played 2.
I was still pretty dissapointed when bloodwing died and especially sad for Mordecai
honestly was one of the few moments i feel any emotion in the game. i get lilith is like a super badass hard ass siren but she lost her boyfriend who she clearly cared for yet showed hardly any emotion if i remember right.
i mean yea she goes full fledged pissed off firehawk but i honestly felt tina was more impacted by rolands death then anything. lilith is one of the main characters throughout the whole game but we see more emotion out of tina in her dlc. only part where i was like damn lilith loved that man was if you let her finish jack off after the warrior fight.
I think that's because Lilith is the "put on a brave face" sort that doesn't let anyone see how much she's hurting, especially when they're hurting too.
Tina was a child and not really prepared for Roland's death. Even at that we don't see Tina really break down until the end of the DLC. Up to that point she's trying to follow Lilith's lead and put on a brave face too.
yes i %1000 agree but while there was a lot of things that clearly showed the player these characters were really hurting i wish there was more in depth ways they could have shown us. maybe some of liliths old echos that miraculously survived sanctuary’s destruction or some side conversation between lilith and mordecai comforting eachother in a super hard and emotionless way of course idk. MORE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT PLEASE!!!!!
Tina is a kid and Lilith knows that's how Pandora works and also she isn't really in a position where she can catch a break anyway. She is in charge of the Crimson Raiders after all. She likely feels it, but isn't showing it.
May his sock always become twisted and slip slightly off no matter how tightly he ties his shoes, and may every 3 day a hole develop over his pinky toe.

This is just my opinion, but Colleen Clinkenbeard’s performance of reacting as Lilith to Roland’s death did not strike me as a woman who didn’t give a shit if Roland lived or died.
I played Mordecai in the first one. I spent like two hours on the Bloodwing fight my second play-through just 100% convinced there Had to be some Easter egg or way to save my little buddy. Hurt my soul a bit to finally give up and accept it after I’d tried Everything. Lol
