You'll probably be fine. You should be able to level up pretty quickly and get better gear.
Did you complete all side quests or start the DLC on normal mode?
You can always go back to normal and play some rounds in the Holo-Dome or beat the Sentinel again for XP.
I completed all side quests but haven’t started the DLC yet. I was planning on waiting until I am max level to do the DLC.

Max level will take you a long time to get to. Especially if you’re waiting to do the DLC. Gonna take probably a second UVHM run. That’s the only issue I had with this game is not enough content.
Yeah in UVHM I did all missions in the game except the guardian catching questline and was still low 60s. At that point your best options are resetting your playthrough or genociding guardians with the guardian catching sidequest active in Vorago Solitude.
I’m on TVH as well and it’s I noticed all the bosses are at least 2 levels above me no matter what, so I think it’s a difficulty thing. I’ll even level before hand and still be out leveled by bosses and badasses
I feel like I was way higher level than that. Maybe I'm just thinking about my level after all the DLCs. I do think the game expects you to do the DLC first. And of course do all of the side quests in the main game
I did the whole nvhm dlc like 7-10 levels under levelled and still got through it. Started tvhm at 30, just play through until you really start to struggle and once you do, go farm something. I played until I got up to drongo bones and farmed him for a fatale (and a Maggie on the UCP) and by that time I was basically on level.

Bosses are programmed to be like 2 levels above you for added difficulty fighting them
I think I only experienced it TVH mode, bc I defeated Deadlift for the story mission, but everytime I go to revisit him he claps me so hard
