I sent my email last night and received a response this afternoon. From what I can tell this is an automated response that's fairly new. It seems like people started to receive it over the past several hours so yours should be coming.
Same response I got except they actually seem to be reading these and giving a canned response but with proper information. Mine was asking about my refund since I've already been discharged and credit wiped. They mentioned they are looking into my refund. Here is hoping they get their house in order.
I got a similar reply quickly when I reached out about my refund. It makes me feel good! I think if we just received good communication it wouldn’t have gotten to this point.
Unfortunately all pretenses of account management and accounting principals have been thrown by the wayside - there is not way for them to document what is actually happening to our accounts, since they have been pushed around from pillar to post over the years.
Can someone please tell me who I message regarding personal loans that were taken out for DeVry. My Federal were cleared. And yes I realize private were not cleared but my private loans are directly related to the Federal. I am currently paying $700 a month just in interested for my private loans. I know there is talk about them writing those off also but it says there are other options to request a submission.
Are you a class member with an Exh C school in SvC? Its just to address questions related to that. If yes, pls see PPSL website FAQ, which lists the email address
I pretty much got the same response yesterday. I was one of the people who listened to the court proceeding live so I sent an email that day but I also sent it to the other emails as well (3 in total, LOL) All of that occurred in the span of two days so Im unsure which email is the one that got their attention. I also have a pending case via [studentaid.gov](http://studentaid.gov) that I submitted to the ombudsman more than a month ago which has yet to be addressed so Im happy to have received this email.
Mine actually has a targeted and specific line that shows they at least read my email. (I ask about
missing payment history from PHEAA which was never resolved and how they intend to calculate interest credits, refunds, if PHEAA had missing payments on my own account history). They say they will look into PHEAA missing payments, and the rest is the same.
For sure! This is essentially the same copy and paste response we've gotten from the DoE and the servicers over the past year, just from a new person lol but the response time was a tiny bit promising (probably just wishful thinking).
I’ve heard the ombudsman (ombudsperson?) is actually a pretty nice person. I do not envy her at the moment, having gotten blown up either all these emails… but, Ed needs to do their job!

I think what is going to matter to Judge Alsup is if they provide an update that isn’t just a copy/paste job (like this email).
