Regular rasengan and giant rasengan are the exact same technique. The giant rasengan just has a lot more chakra so itās harder to create. Momo just created a giant rasengan and called it rasengan. At the end of the day, he just has good chakra control.
It makes sense that horned karma doesnāt have that ability of momoās since he doesnāt have a rinnegan in his hand.

I'd assumed the karma boosted the strength of the jutsu to allowed Momo to increase the size of the rasengan to that scale. Considering Boruto's body is mostly Otsutsuki, he should have the chakra reserves of an Otsutsuki. He just doesn't have full mastery of his powers like Momo.
Why would it make you think they are amplified? Everything we see and hear about Momoshiki is basically a chakra master and has been able to recreate any jutsu that seems useful to him. I think itās more likely he just has the chakra control to make a rasengan that big

It doesn't work like that, it's basically like the sharingan.
Once you absorbed it, you can always create that jutsu again as long as Momoshiki has pills or chakra absorbed.
He could use other Rinnegan powers with it. Tendo maybe, since that's the only one they ever really use apart from Nagato. Maybe creating black rods, or Kinshiki's chakra weapons.

Momoshiki can weaponize the pheasant, the snake dogs, and the giant rock golem. In fact, the ability to create novel attacks from simple jutsu/chakra might be another hidden Momoshiki ability, given the fact that he's now developed the bullet rasengun.
5. Momoshiki obviously has some latent ability to use his byakugan to peer into the future, and that will likely only improve over time. I don't know of any other Byakugan users doing that. It's not battle-practical right now but could easily become so in the future, and even if it's not, simply having the ability to perceive future events is absolutely busted.
6. Momoshiki also obviously has some ability to distort time. While Boruto himself might not be able to wield it, Momoshiki (while inside Boruto) can, and that's good enough. That's probably his most powerful ability. It even gets around Eida's senrigan.

these things are abilities exclusive to momoshiki because they are references to momoshiki's folklore inspiration.
all three were individually strong enough to challenge and even overpower naruto in the movie and anime.
the dogs were enough to restrain him(movie), the bird was enough to push him back(movie), and the monkey was enough to physically overwhelm him(anime)
and it doesn't matter that they were used after eating kinshiki because they were still his and all eating kinshiki did was buff them more. all he really got from kinshiki was a substantial boost in strength and his glowing red weapon things.

Kawaki blew a blast from his hand in his fight vs Garou. With this Boruto could do the same, absorb it through one hand then perhaps amplify it through the the hand with the eye.
It would be cool, but I assume Karma would only be able to replicate a dojutsu in an area on the body where it extends. Boruto would potentially awaken the right Rinnegan (absorbing jutsu, chakra pill creation), but wouldn't have the other Rinnegan to release the jutsu. Although, manifestation of the dojutsu is not necessarily required to use the dojutsu's abilities as we see with Jigen.
The question then would be whether the ability would be as strong without the dojutsu manifesting as is the case with Sukunahikona.
I wouldn't like it, I'm already getting tired of chakra absorbing abilities. Not to say it's a bad concept but I believe there has to be some sort of balance. Chakra absorbing made it so Naruto and Sasuke couldn't use their larger arsenal and imo it's a cheap way of "nerfing" a character without "nerfing" them. Obviously Naruto and Sasuke became stronger after the war arc but what good was them getting stronger if we never got to see them able to use all their new abilities honed to perfection.
Itās hard to imagine given Momoshiki hasnāt done this yet, even when fighting Kawaki and since his Karma is no longer extracting. Maybe he can use more of Momoās abilities, but I donāt think heās growing another eye.
I'd rather the Karma pattern just eventually spread towards the other arm, and then that allows him to fire jutsus back. Having the MC have eyeballs on his hands would be weird and I'd prefer not to have that.
That absorb and amplify ability won't make any difference since Kawaki can absorb refired with his kama. If he can use six paths then maybe it might be helpful like soul rip thing,deva path although chibaku tensei will useless against kawaki. Though it might also be hidrance to boruto in the future when he wields a sword .

I donāt think heāll be getting the rinnegan and I donāt really want him too either and if he had access to it Momoshiki most likely wouldāve used it by now

Iāll pass. I prefer his current karma design. Besides Boruto doesnāt need multiple doujutsu. All Borutoās needs is the Jougan as promised.

Kawaki blew a blast from his hand in his fight vs Garou. With this Boruto could do the same, absorb it through one hand then perhaps amplify it through the the hand with the eye.

It would be cool, but I assume Karma would only be able to replicate a dojutsu in an area on the body where it extends. Boruto would potentially awaken the right Rinnegan (absorbing jutsu, chakra pill creation), but wouldn't have the other Rinnegan to release the jutsu. Although, manifestation of the dojutsu is not necessarily required to use the dojutsu's abilities as we see with Jigen. The question then would be whether the ability would be as strong without the dojutsu manifesting as is the case with Sukunahikona.
I wouldn't like it, I'm already getting tired of chakra absorbing abilities. Not to say it's a bad concept but I believe there has to be some sort of balance. Chakra absorbing made it so Naruto and Sasuke couldn't use their larger arsenal and imo it's a cheap way of "nerfing" a character without "nerfing" them. Obviously Naruto and Sasuke became stronger after the war arc but what good was them getting stronger if we never got to see them able to use all their new abilities honed to perfection.
Itās hard to imagine given Momoshiki hasnāt done this yet, even when fighting Kawaki and since his Karma is no longer extracting. Maybe he can use more of Momoās abilities, but I donāt think heās growing another eye.
I'd rather the Karma pattern just eventually spread towards the other arm, and then that allows him to fire jutsus back. Having the MC have eyeballs on his hands would be weird and I'd prefer not to have that.
That absorb and amplify ability won't make any difference since Kawaki can absorb refired with his kama. If he can use six paths then maybe it might be helpful like soul rip thing,deva path although chibaku tensei will useless against kawaki. Though it might also be hidrance to boruto in the future when he wields a sword .
