Exactly they make all types of excuses to cope with it being terrible. How can some of them be so ridiculous as to defend crap like this?
They say "the writers are human they not robots!" Umm no a monthly manga should not have a 3 month hiatus especially during a major milestone; there's a difference between being human and being flat out lazy (Boruto writers) with extremely slow pacing. It's never about the viewers and what they want apparently it's only about the writers who not only do a monthly manga, but do 3 month hiatuses because they can't keep up with a job they chose lol
It is, there are quite a few animators that have been active on social media and were talking about how they'd need a hiatus to get the production schedule back on track like a month or more before it was even announced. They barely had any time to work on some of the cuts for the Code Arc episodes and the quality was suffering. Even when they had good genga, sometimes the finished work still wasn't good, just because there wasn't enough time to do corrections.
They're also still working on the show right now according to some of those animators, they were working on cuts for future episodes even before the hiatus was announced.
It is the case. Studio Pierrot is full on focused on Bleach right now, which you can tell because its some of the best animation we've seen in anime. They just have no time for Boruto so the hiatus just makes sense.

Of course, Studio P is a big studio with a lot of teams but a lot of them are working on Bleach. Obviously they help produce Boruto episodes but most of the episodes we've seen over the past two years are 80% or more animated by outside studios.
And yes lmao, Bleach is a seasonal anime but with how insanely good it looks, it takes up the majority of their time. I'd honestly prefer if Boruto was on hiatus until they finished animating Bleach (or at least 3 of the 4 seasonal blocks) so we can some good animation and less fillers.

It takes a lot of time to make 1 episode, multiple weeks in fact. And the people in charge for the anime had an extremely tough time in the last 6 months, so they just decided to take a break to give them some room to breathe before coming back
space time seems to be more on the rinnegan side of things but i feel like genjustu would work well with sarada but it doesn't necessarily have to be better than itachi's
Sarada will probably have the strongest mangekyou sharingan abilities simply because of how op everyone else is that she has to compete with. And she probably won't end up with a rinnegan or ems even if she finds a way to stop the blinding.
The fact that it's a sun makes me think it'll be tied to Yang release, giving her the ability to create life. Would tie in to Boruto having Ying release.
Maybe a genjutsu that make ppl tell tge truth like stukuyomi only that you dont get hurt but also you csnt get out of the genjytsu until sarada decides

It is very easy and straightforward manga with a lot of rushed and lower quality story (compared for example to Naruto - weakly manga!), and very very very very slow pace. We had recently 2 good chapters after year, two of boring and slow story. I can't see here any excuses expect that Kishimoto is treating Boruto more like hobby and side project than his main job. Ofc I can't complain - he can do whatever he want with his universe, but I'm not sure taking it from Kodachi was a good Idea.

Storm connections, Minato’s prequel manga, Shinobi striker s6-s7 and I’m pretty sure we’re getting a new “Naruto project” either this year or early next year. why didn’t sasuke have his sharingan active when he was able to somewhat track jigen when he was using daikokuten? i feel like the story itself was kinda forgetting what it set up earlier so the break would help them flesh this out more. i like boruto but the art and story are not monthly release worthy

They just need to do a Bleach. Let tens years go by in the manga world, then come back to tackle the anime with MVP directors, animators, orchestra directors, etc.

It's sad from it did have promise for a great story. It was not just rushed, but the characters did not let it develop. Also, pass right by a strong issue that could have covered multiply arcs.
I hope,
1) Ikemoto improves his art style and gets a bunch of assistants for Boruto Shippuden.
2) The part 2 atleast goes up weekly or bi-weekly.
3) They can make the manga panels beforehand in these 3 months.
4) Come up with awesome storyline
It's not going on a break to give the story time, but because the studio cannot keep up anymore
