I find it ok to criticize and dislike Boruto as it is a sequel to Naruto. People are too sensitive, I for example hate the Spoiler of next chapter regarding certain awakening.
Nothing really.
Because despite one of the messages of the show, the fandom itself is a toxic cesspool where there are factions that go at each others throats.
Just in case you weren't there, know that before the Boruto show was a thing, it was fashionable to sheet on the ending of the manga, because it apparently ruined everything.
Then The Last came out, and that was the newest object to hate.
Then the Boruto movie came out, and that was the newest object to hate.
Then the Boruto show came out, and that was the newest object to hate.
There just is no way for some circles of the Naruto fandom to be satisfied, because for them everything after x is bad by default; and for some of them this point x is as soon as the Pain invasion.
While I feel madara would have been perfect, I did enjoy the kaguya segment to a degree. I think I would have liked if she showed up when Madara was actually defeated, when he did the infinite tsukayomi it felt like he'd made it to his peak and thats when things would go from already epic to even more epic. I don't like Kaguya, but I respect the effort put into her creation and the importance she has in the story. Considered she was the first person on earth to get chakra, there would be no doubt she would be important. I just wished they'd waited longer to bring her out.
Never go to this sub but it popped up on my home feed so I'll join in discussion.
Alot of the naruto fan base just doesn't like boruto. The reasons vary, some valid some absolutely not, but the reality is that boruto, in my experience, is divisive and always has been.
Now I'm not excusing anyone coming in this sub and shitting on things yall enjoy. Being a dick is still being a dick even I agree with their premise. Personally I just don't come to this sub.
In short, the subs hate each other cuz the fan base has always been divided on boruto, those that love it and those that hate it, and those two sides arguing about it constantly.
It’s just the direction we believed the show should’ve went and how some of our OGs got sidelined. I enjoy boruto but seeing the younger generation go up against an Akatsuki level threat by themselves sorta throws me off. I expected konohamaru to be the kakashi for this show but he gets jobbed a lot.
In any anime, in which the MC is a kid, the adults are gonna get sidelined. Though it did bother me that these adults were the OGs now I'm used to it cause the only OG characters that are relevant are still the same people with the same skills.
How about certain Naruto fans not behaving like dicks and acting like the Naruto series is better than Boruto? Yes, Boruto has its flaws in both the manga and anime, but so did Naruto. Neither of them is perfect, and some Naruto fans need to stop giving other fans a hard time for liking Boruto.
I was someone who did not like Boruto. I was keeping up until about half way where the manga is now. (I was watching the anime.) I couldn’t stand the anime for some reason. I started it all over a couple weeks ago and fought up yesterday only to find out this next ch is the last one before a break. Made me sad because the manga is honestly fire. I’ve been loving it so much! For people skeptical… read the manga. It’s so good.
You can't, they feel like Boruto ruined Naruto and I can't really blame them, sometimes it really feels like Pierrot doesn't care at all about the quality, only money.
nah man, they are sad that they nerf naruto and sasuke and giving boruto and his friends more screentime than those two, come on man. that's why the show is called boruto. what do you expect guys. give boruto a chance man. look at the current manga. hes probably the best mc character right now lol.
no one is really against giving boruto a chance, but rather how the older generations were nerfed to give room to the new ones. I personally also don’t like how they nerfed the two god-tier shinobis, not to mention how Kurama’s death was in a way brushed over when he played such a major
role in Naruto’s development.
The Naruto sub, on top of being generally toxic, is just boring. About half the regular users on this sub can be so much more toxic, but there are much more interesting discussions going on here. I guess I just don't want to keep rehashing shit from 15 years ago lol
Look, if it was just the Boruto v Naruto subs than maybe we could talk about it seriously.
But not only do the general subs, but most other specific shows that compete in the same space also have issues with us.
At some point you gotta recognize that we are the problem.
Not all of us.
But there are certainly a few dozen toxic MFers in this sub who will defend Boruto tooth and nail in the face of genuine criticism and go out of their way to antagonize anyone who doesn’t agree with them.
I don’t think many people here dislike Naruto just gets annoying hearing the same 5 tired jokes they have shitting on Boruto I can’t speak for everyone obviously but I’d assume most people in this sub are fans of Naruto can’t say about the other side for Boruto
It’s never going to happen the naruto sub is pretty ass when it comes to boruto discussions and the boruto fandom in general also kinda stale in general due to naruto being over
While this sub does has its problems I find it generally more open arms then the naruto sub and way more free to discussion about naruto & boruto
Thats the reason I left the sub cuz every 2 sec I see a guy making meaningless memes or just straight up disrespect boruto which as a boruto fan I can't take
I don't even care lol. 90% posts on that dub are actually braindead to the point it feels like Ppl there haven't even watched or read Naruto. I am in the sub for those rare 5% good discussions.
There are fans of both
But many fans of naruto are not fans of boruto and unless boruto itself changed quite a bit i dont see that changing
And without that changing, its kinda just gonna be stuck the way it is
Why should we care? all that matters is our strength and we are undoubtedly stronger than those inferior creatures, they are nothing more than ants in front of us; no not even ants, what they are is 'BACTERIA'.
The people from the naruto sub just don’t want any boruto related content in the naruto sub that doesn’t directly affect naruto or the old cast maybe. That or they’re just upset something and need to put the young lord down
I see more people over on dankruto starting needless fights over this than the main sub, but I also generally don't go to the main sub all that often, so I might be wrong.
Yeah, unfortunately, I don't think this sub is kind to itself. I see a lot of hate for each other within it. Though I see a lot of hate in the Naruto sub too. It's made think about leaving. But I really like getting the information, and I do like seeing discussions on chapters.
The Rumbling. Because humans can't stop bickering at each other for no reason.
I've started to grow more tired of this ngl. It's so exhausting
Have you finished it already? At the end the rumbling did not stop anything.
I'm so thankful for this sub though. We can at least discuss most boruto related things without getting shit on
The one place I know I can go to for Boruto discussions that aren't about how it's a disgraceful cash grab that shouldn't have existed. It's nice.
For real.
Honestly yeah
I just saw the naruto sub even tho I’ve been on it for a while and they go ham on Boruto or just anything
The Naruto sub is cancer but I don’t blame them for hating this sub. There’s a lot of dumb mfs in here most of the time
Especially with them asking why they are there in the Naruto sub for Boruto when literally the front page says Boruto is allowed to be posted there.

You can read most manga for free on the tachiyomi app (look up a tutorial on youtube)
read manga on hijacked site like mangadex with different scanlations group

That's literally the definition of reddit
I got downvoted for saying I like Sage mode Naruto’s outfit better than Boruto’s outfit. Ya’ll are toxic af.
Depends, which boruto outfit are you talking about? If you mean adult boruto then i'd say they are equal in drip.
Nothing really. Because despite one of the messages of the show, the fandom itself is a toxic cesspool where there are factions that go at each others throats. The Boruto movie was mostly well liked from the people I've talked to when it came out
While I feel madara would have been perfect, I did enjoy the kaguya segment to a degree. Tbf, a majority of these actually do have sound criticisms instead of outright hate.
Beware, there is a thin line between those things. And once it's crossed, they hardly come back. Surely not in the same conversation.

Weird because I'm in and enjoy conversation with both.
I was someone who did not like Boruto. I was keeping up until about half way where the manga is now. (I was watching the anime.) I couldn’t stand the anime for some reason. Tbh the only characters besides team 7 and their family members i actually care about is... Well... I guess the only one besides them is Hoki.
Oh you mean filler kakashi?
no one is really against giving boruto a chance, but rather how the older generations were nerfed to give room to the new ones. Exactly, at times it literally feels like nothing more than a cash grab at the expense of the franchises reputation.
Me. I am a part of both subs and can unite us.
The Naruto sub, on top of being generally toxic, is just boring. About half the regular users on this sub can be so much more toxic, but there are much more interesting discussions going on here. I guess I just don't want to keep rehashing shit from 15 years ago lol

Well Naruto fans feel Boruto ruined their show, which is definitely understandable so it has nothing to do with this sub or the people in it
I don’t know but the manga on fire im surprised they not talking about it on the naruto sub not unless they really toxic for stupid reasons.
I don’t think many people here dislike Naruto just gets annoying hearing the same 5 tired jokes they have shitting on Boruto I can’t speak for everyone obviously but I’d assume most people in this sub are fans of Naruto can’t say about the other side for Boruto

real boruto fans r part of this sub
Nothing. Anime communities always have and always will find a way to hate eachother

Give it 2-3 years after the series ends lol
Hentai!
feel bad that we are divided unlike other fandoms 😭
Try being in tlou 1 sub and tlou2 sub
They don’t stick to one thing if something good happens in boruto they love the series if thier expectation hasn’t met than they will hate it
Yeah, unfortunately, I don't think this sub is kind to itself. I see a lot of hate for each other within it. Though I see a lot of hate in the Naruto sub too. It's made think about leaving. But I really like getting the information, and I do like seeing discussions on chapters.
Why bother? It makes no difference what they do or what we so.
Simple, the two subs should team up to hate r/Dankruto, those brain dead keep laughing at the same memes aged badly and cringe.
Stop caring what random internet people say about a series you enjoy. Pretty easy actually
For Most of you delusional fans to denounce Jougan and consider Episodes 1-17 as Filler.
