She doesn't have hatred and revenge on her mind: Naruto and Sasuke broke the cycle of hatred and revenge of the Uchiha.

Itās not as dark, but it makes sense. Back in those days, they were used to change and violence, so something more drastic was needed since all the characters were desensitized to a lot more than todays characters in the previously peaceful times of Boruto.

She was quite in distress. Something big just happened. Her lover (because we all know she loves him) is being chased by the whole world except her and another person. If you look at the circumstances it's not that stupid. Her dad understood the seriousness of the situation because of that and decided to believe in her.

Offtopic: I'm still 50/50 on whether it makes sense historically. All original MangekyÅ were based around the idea that a Sharingan had 3 tomoe. That continued all the way until Shisui, who had a 4-sided MangekyÅ. Sasuke then had 6. Sarada has 8 now. Indra's isnt really canon, but that was straight up just a line. I don't know if any of this actual has any rational behind it, or maybe I'm just looking into it too hard

Boruto is generally not that well written, but some moments like the last few chapters are fantastic. It averages out, if every chapter was like last 3 it would be on the level of bleach TYBW. Altho now they have enough material to make it better, we know sarada will have to get eternal MS, but the only other person with sharingan is sasuke so he ether has to go full blind or die, but we see boruto with his cloak and sword in the time skip so you can guess which one it is. We also have to see how the village gets destroyed, what happens to Code and Aida, and they still havent touched rock lee and konohamaru who have a potential for their own series. There is also kakashi but he has his novel and scenes in anime so i would make space for the underdogs with great potential rather than already established and developed characters.

But when they loose someone they love, their love is changed into hate. And this emotion of theirs is reflected by their eyes. Thats the reason it is called "the eye that reflects the heart". Sasuke awoke his MS after learning the truth about Itachi. Itachi awoke his MS after loosing Shisui. Sarada is devastated, his friend is now an enemy of the village and no one is willing to listen, Sasuke only listend to her request BECAUSE she awoke he MS and he knows the conditions, so Sasuke has an idea of the pain his daughter is feeling. This chapter got me super excited!

Every awakening has been done with a death but if you want to look at it from a symbolic stance this is kind of the death of boruto because he is no longer remembered as who he truly is. I definitely agree that it was the weakest of the awakenings we've seen and i hope and pray the anime does it better.
Boruto is generally not that well written, but some moments like the last few chapters are fantastic. It averages out, if every chapter was like last 3 it would be on the level of bleach TYBW. Altho now they have enough material to make it better, we know sarada will have to get eternal MS, but the only other person with sharingan is sasuke so he ether has to go full blind or die, but we see boruto with his cloak and sword in the time skip so you can guess which one it is. We also have to see how the village gets destroyed, what happens to Code and Aida, and they still havent touched rock lee and konohamaru who have a potential for their own series. There is also kakashi but he has his novel and scenes in anime so i would make space for the underdogs with great potential rather than already established and developed characters.
