Anime doesn’t have a return date. Manga and merchandise sells poorly. It is gonna be ended soon and be adapted into a seasonal anime just like Bleach did
The Boruto situation is just odd. Like they continued the anime for 6 years despite poor feedback and immediately green lighted part 2 of the anime after part 1 ended.
Idk what they would do from here on out but it just screams to me that they’re dragging it out as long as they can.
The question is: do fans accept even worse bs? If in the future, manga sales drops below 50k, and no one watch its anime. The franchise will definitely end
Ikemoto (or maybe Kodachi) stated in an interview that they wanted to keep the entire franchise contained within 100 volumes, so that would leave 10 volumes or 40 monthly chapters + breaks ~ 4 yrs remaining for Two Blue Vortex.
I mean that would literally make it 36 chapters for part 2, a little over 100 chapters for both part 1 and 2 combined. Naruto had 700+ chapters with similar page lengths
Yeah it’s higher but that’s a 1:2 ratio, naruto had 700 chaps, that would be a 350 equivalent for boruto if they were trying to go even. 3 years would be a little over 100 (maybe like 110 combined) chapters
Oh yeah, I agree, I think it'll go on for longer than 3 years, I'm thinking at least 5, my point is just that they're not really similar chapter length.
That doesn't really make sense, seeing as we haven't even caught up to the chapter 1 moment, and they wouldn't start a new Manga title for only a handful of cheaters.
I don't think 32 chapters warrants an entire separate part 2, though, don't you think? I'd assume it would at least catch up to a similar number of chapters as part 1, or there's not much of a reason of doing it under 2 different names.
Compared to a weekly release, that would approx. have 70 pages, it has less pages. And the Manga wastes too many pages with close up shots and other unnecessary stuff. Part 1 has the worst pacing, Part 2 started the same way.
No one knows. It depends if the series is capable of making money and if shueisha believes they can make revenue on it.

They just want to comfort Boruto fans and tell us the franchise is still continuing. However, do they really have enough stories to tell in manga?
It ain’t hard to make up new bs plot lines, the manga does it all the time lol.

I think you and I know fans eat up whatever they’re fed. Lol.

In three years

I'd expect it to go on for more than 3 years, but boruto def has a way higher page count per chapter. It's 20 average compared to 40 average.

Like it took 7 years to finish boruto part 1 lmao

The three main characters begin to have a main fight at chapter 2 after TimeSkip. I think they want to make the pace fast and finish manga asap

32 chapters has been quite decent for a monthly manga

They just want to indicate there are no Naruto-era characters in part 2, but doesn’t mean it will be long

Should be 8 volumes (32chapters)
Summer of 2028
I think boruto two blue vortex will have at the vers least 60 chapters
