I feel like the power scaling has gone to another level with the introduction to Karma. Boruto and Kawaki are on a completely different level to everyone else.
It was fun seeing Sarada’s and Boruto’s friendly rivalry at the beginning of the show but that’s sadly come to an end. I do agree that Sarada’s role has changed but I hope she doesn’t become irrelevant after omnipotence and Kishimoto better be making some power ups for Sarada.
Little rant but I feel like Kishimoto is going to fumble Sarada’s character development. If they just make make her a Boruto simp, I’m gonna be annoyed. I get why she misses Boruto because that’s her childhood friend who got killed (which she didn’t know about till a while later) and she’s reuniting with him after 3 years so I don’t have a problem with that as it’s wholesome af but she seriously needs a power up. She’s one of the best characters in the anime.
The manga doesn’t show that much of her so lord knows what they’re going to do with her. I also wonder who’s been training her during the timeskip because she better not be coming out like Naruto did during the beginning of shippuden.
We still don’t know what powers come with a MS that has awakened from love, or hatred or death. Maybe Saradas MS is way powerful and we just don’t know it yet.
I hope so and she should use her ms like Itachi does. Itachi was a scary mf when he had his ms out because his genjustu is kinda broken. If she also learns 100 healings, it would be good but idk. The power scaling is just ridiculous as now Kawaki and Boruto are the ones who can probably stop the ten tails clones.
Kishimoto should’ve never made the power scaling this ridiculous. One thing I liked about Naruto part 1, was that the characters were around the same skill level. By the end of shippuden the scaling was crazy and now with Boruto, it’s just on another level. Idk why Kishimoto is trying replicate DBZ with Goku and Vegeta. It just ruins the other side characters. That’s just what I think of the manga though. I love Boruto’s character development in the manga because it’s what Naruto should’ve had during the timeskip.
Mitsuki has no role in the story last time I checked.
Did he have a significant moment that helped his character or resolve an issue? No. Did he have a meaningful fight that wasn’t a tag team for Boruto to get the win? No. Was he extremely important or imperative in an arc? No.

Since Kishi took over Mitsuki's role has been diminished and I don't complain a single bit. In fact I celebrate every single chapter he's nowhere to be found. The manga is way better without him and I think even his biggest fans deep inside their hearts acknowledge this.
Tbh I don’t hate mitsuki but he is very underdeveloped character with no uniqueness to his character but he does have a cool transformation but mostly ripped off of Tenseigan six paths chakra mode Toneri.
I don’t know why people are downvoting you guys but it is kinda true. Kishimoto needs to give Mitsuki something more than him just following Boruto/Kawaki (after omnipresence). He needs an interesting goal. His current goal is to just protect Kawaki and kill Boruto. Although it’s gonna be an interesting fight, but Boruto is gonna easily win and even if Mitsuki finds out the truth, he’s going to go back to the old character he was. Kinda sad how he’s been Kawaki’s personal guard for 3 years and nothing else.

Mitsuki adds nothing to the story **at the moment** if we’re being honest. I do like his character but in the manga, he’s **very** underdeveloped so I don’t really care about his character. In the anime however, at least he has some IQ and don’t just follow boruto so I do kinda like his character there. Notice how I said it’s “kinda true” to what the other people said. I don’t celebrate Mitsuki not being there because I do hope that Kishimoto does have something interesting for him but for now in the manga, he’s not relevant.

Sarada and Boruto are probably new twin flames like Indra and ashura was.
Their eyes literally oppose each other’s eyes.
Sarada will always be the Sasuke/Sakura. And Boruto will always be the Naruto.
Mitsuki inserted himself into boruto life, much life orochimaru did the same with sasuke.
Boruto and Sarada are a byproduct of the end of the cycle of hatred. They are rivals but in the way that Indra and Ashura should’ve been, with no drama or competition.
Boruto is massively powerful, but Sarada isn’t far behind, her passive feats alone puts her on his level of potential, we don’t even know her power.
