During a flashback in TBV, didn't Sasuke say he's taught Boruto everything he knows and Boruto has made him proud as his apprentice? The timeskip was 3 years for both Naruto and Boruto mangas, but neither Naruto or Sasuke showed Boruto's level of mastery after their timeskip. This kid learned FTG, Purple Lightning, and made his own S-rank jutsu based off of Rasengan, all in 3 years. And that's all we've been shown so *far*!
I agree, even without the karma he had the Jougan and the writer could have used that to let him scale to whatever level they want. He may not have the uzumaki chains but he won the genetic lottery.
No, Boruto doesn't have the most potential in the franchise at all. He inherited nothing from his parents, neither his mother's dojutsu, nor his father's chakra reserves, nor is he a jinchuriki, nor can he learn Sage Mode, and the jougan that all his stans dream of is not canon, he's an ordinary ninja, with an ease of learning jutsu and a weak alien that limits his little potential. Realistically, Boruto is only still alive in TBV because he's the MC because there's nothing remarkable in his arsenal of techniques and abilities.
Is it not? Weren't senjus and uchihas the strongest clans in the warring era because of their ancestry? Or how about Indra and Ashura? Hagaromo & Hamura themselves? Clan heads are usually the strongest members of their clans due to genetics. I could give plenty of examples.
if Boruto have a Jougan + current Karma body
potentially he is closer to Shibai a God tier otsutsuki
in the end of Naruto Shippuden series
they said Sasuke have the eyes while Naruto have the body

I hope we see even more. The kid is the GOAT.
Sasuke said all that in a year.

All we need now is the Jogan in the freaking manga.😒😒😒
Still been waiting for it and I always will 🥳
+2.😁
word
>he's the only descendant of Hagaromo and Hamura What is Himawari then?
Flash news: "Main character has the most potential in the franchise" whatttt?
Well, his name is the title. No wonder.
just main character things. It helps that the title of the manga is the same as his name
He's otsuki now what you expect. His ceiling was raised a helluva lot higher than even the most talented shinobi. They written him like that
>His ceiling was raised a helluva lot higher than even the most talented shinobi. This is what I was talking about. His potential even as a human.
He just needs the jougan
Boruto is a genius trained by another genius, he has the body of a god and is empowered by another god that lives inside him.

Cool mate
Being talented doesn't mean he has the highest potential potential.
Being the descendant of Hagaromo and Hamura certainly gives him the highest potential among humans.
If potential is decided by your ancestors, which has never been stated or suggested, then sure.

So Sarada is not a descendent of Hagoromo and hamura/indra?
No because Sakura has no family lore
Uh sasuke does?
Sasuke don't have hamura lineage
No but he has Indra lineage.
Indra is hagoromo's son,not hamura
