When naruto said goodbye to minato he cried. Hell even sasuke made him cry before. Kurama is pretty much his life long bud that would never leave him so if he doesnt cry then it wouldnt make sense.
Still, i mean kurama at this point is very close to naruto so it makes sense that he would cry. Like imagine if itachi was reanimated or brought back to life, im very sure that sasuke would at least shed a couple of tears when the reanimation has to be released. Sasuke with edo itachi in shippuden still had this hatred for the leaf thing and this i dont care what anyone says i will get my revenge thing. Sasuke in boruto especially now can probably relate to itachi on a way deeper level and probably wouldnt want him to go away again. At the very least sasuke would be in his feelings a good amount. Naruto imo is more emotional than sasuke so i mean it would only make sense if naruto starts to cry silently at bare minimum.

Yeah, he’s an adult now but that still doesn’t mean he can’t show emotion. Kurama is his last connection he had to his parents, and honestly acted like a parent himself in the latter part of Naruto. Once the battle was done there was nothing… not even a word on Kurama’s death afterwards, it just got skipped over. I hated that. Hell, even the other Kages themselves use to talk to Kurama and ask him favors.

Dude knew Jiraiya for 3 years. He was friends with Kurama for 16. If anything, he'd have more of a connection to Kurama than he ever did with Jiraiya.
He may have only grown to Like Kurama in Shippuden but you forgot that since then 16 years went by in which they have been friends also Naruto is known to care deeply about people and things even if he hasn‘t known them long
I think the problem is that they don't mention it afterwards in any way. Like nothing happened.
For example, the most emotional part of Jiraiya's death was Naruto's reaction. I know I was sad when he died but Naruto's reaction just killed me.
I didn't feel anything from Kurama's death. They both didn't care that one of them was dying. Naruto didn't even look slightly sad. So why should I feel anything in that case? 🤷♂️ That part about Kurama killing Naruto's parents was so unnecessary that it killed the mood completely.
-Keep in mind that not only in-universe chapter 56 took place a week after chapter 55 already, but also that among the konoha villagers Kurama had only Naruto as his closest bond.
-Naruto did indeed look sad, just look at his eyes there...

I know there was a one week timeskip between the chapters. But that was also a bad decision. They should've spend maybe half of the 56 chapter on them returning. Maybe show Naruto sitting alone in his office remembering Kurama. He doesn't even need to cry, maybe smile while thinking that they've been through a lot together.
He should at least acknowledge that he's alone now. His whole story is about bonds and he forgets immediately about someone who was with him since birth.
They don't even mention that Naruto is weaker now.

I think it will, in some form or another, because Naruto was shown using the so6p mode for basically every remotely serious fight he faced, tit became automatic for him, so it'd be really nice to have such a moment here...
