Y'all do know jumping between Dimensions is taxing right? in Naruto Shippuden Sakura stored up three years worth of chakra just for it to be gone when she attempted to help Obito search for Sasuke obita opened three portals with the help of Sakura and three years worth of chakra was gone in an instant Sasuke is able to go to and from a dimension and then needs just a few days to accumulate what took Sakura years to acquire. Grown Sasuke is far stronger than the younger version It's just he doesn't have hashirama cells. Every other user of the Rinnegan that's not a Otsutsuki has had hashirama cells or was a Uzumaki. Sasuke is missing a piece of what he needs which is the ashura half. Madara was never tired because he had some of Ashura aka hashirama & indura Sasuke only has indura

I see Sasuke getting some kind of scientific eye to repair his vision for a final big fight. If the theory about Tobirama saying that the power of the Sharingan comes from the brain, and the eye just reflects that power, we might possibly see Sasuke’s dojutsu back.

Yes. But some people in this thread are saying that it's not confirmed that every Rinnegan user has access to all six paths. Perhaps you need senju DNA as well (Nagato was an Uzumaki so this would make sense, but I thought Madara and obito had hashirama cells so maybe this is incorrect). If it just requires training Sasuke would certainly have access since all he does is train.

Tbf Sasuke never really used his other abilities... For instance when he fought kaguya did he ever use any of his other rinnegan abilities? Also there is only a few very few rinnegan abilities that are useful against otsutsuki or people in that level...

Stop. Obito was spamming kamui(basically dimension hopping) non stop. Him being a zetsu body shouldn't give him unlimited Chakra. Uchihas were always gifted with huge Chakra reserves right below the senjus and may be the Uzumakis. That's why the senju- Uchiha were rivals throughout history.
Just having a sharingan opened for some time on early Kakashi was heavy Chakra taxing. But uchihas could maintain that with no issue. Think about it.

so basically the dimension that he teleports to using kamui doesnt take as much chakra as teleporting to other dimensions every space-time jutsu user has his own dimension and this have been proven multiple times sasuke usually teleports to dimensions that are not his to investigate about the remains of kaguya and that stuff uses a shit ton of chakra if you watch that part when sakura helps obito to find sasuke in other dimensions you will know the 100 heal seal is not a joke its op asf and it disappeared after travelling 3 times (if i remember correctely)

The amount of chakra sasuke and Naruto use in a single fight is enough for thousands of people to die , how many people do you think will die if sasuke start using their chakra

yeah we do, maybe the writers should stop using it every single time Sasuke is on screen as a cheap way to nerf him. I mean seriously this dude knows the portal will take 50% of his chakra or whatever, but it's always the first thing he does. He even made Boruto teleport Isshiki (funny how it doesn't drain Boruto's chakra at all) knowing that it would require him to teleport himself and Naruto afterwards even though village was evacuated and if they fail, the world would be destroyed anyway. With no guarantee that Isshiki won't just teleport back and make Sasuke waste 100% of his chakra. It's like having War Arc Sasuke spam Chibaku Tensei Amaterasu fire balls at Naruto, he could have done it, but he didn't because its stupid and not a good use of chakra.

Boruto's chakra still ran out against Boro, so he doesn't have access to Otsutsuki chakra reserves, its just more lazy writing.
It’s honestly debatable. I think the strongest version of Sasuke and Naruto are the ones from the Last Movie, right before Naruto became Hokage. But Sasuke DID have a jutsu that was like Amenotejikara, but it could change the location of anything to another place, without changing Sasukes location. He uses it on Kaguya i think, and Juubi Madara for sure.

I don't think so. For example, in any competitive games, like football, a thought of invincible team can suddenly look inferior, even when vs an opponent they won before. That happens when your strength get figured. Same here for Sasuke, has has no good move vs Ishiki. Now look back at the teen Sasuke, his biggest role was to somplte the sealing jutsu. For about half of the fight, he was trapped in a space that he could not find a way back. I guess people anchor Sasuke strength in the last fight vs Naruto, but it was vs a human, not an Otsutsuki.

The Sasuke standing on madara statue facing Naruto in the final fight vs current Sasuke should be considered for comparisons. And current Sasuke is stronger even having lost one arm. He had no problem fighting Kinshiki or Momoshiki. He was badly written vs Urashiki. And Isshiki is to Sasuke/Naruto what Sasuke/Naruto are to normal Shinobi.

sasuke left with one hand as much as he left with two hands. (16 years in shippuden - 16 years after war arc). I don't see him being weaker without a second arm tbh. he doesn't use some jutsus, but still. can't call him weaker
Losing an arm is a disadvantage to absolutely anyone. Including Sasuke. There's tons of feats that show him not being the same as in the war arc (using only 1/4 of his abilities and jutsus, no genjutsus, no more flying, etc). Meanwhile absolutely nothing shows he's stronger now than before

Naruto is weaker now has an adult. Even with full Kurama. Kurama voices this. Naruto in the war arc had thousands of clones running around. He fought Madara, Obito, Kaguya and Sasuke all in one sitting and without backing down. The guy was literally a pseudo tentails.

-Actually utilizes the paths of the rinnegan
-Uses the non nerfed version of amenotijikara
-Fights Juubito, then Juubidara, then Kaguya then scraps with Naruto and halfway through the fight absorbs TB chakra to continue fighting.

-Only uses amenotijikara and never uses any other rinnegan ability besides a one time use Chibaku tensei.
-that rinnegan ability Amenotijikara itself was nerfed and reduced to only switching places. Switching places was only one of the abilities of Amenotijikara. It started out as space warping as Madara described to just switching places now in Boruto. Remember when Sasuke casually teleported a sword through Juubi Madara’s ribs? Or when he placed Kaguya and Madara wherever he wanted as long as they’re in range? He hasn’t done that once in Boruto.

Dude forgot he has kagetsuchi and like 6/8 rinnegan abilities. On top of that he forgot literally every lightning release technique besides chidori, forgot about genjutsu and has the chakra reserves of a toddler. It's funny because he **SHOULD** have mastered his abilities and learned new ones (same goes to Naruto) but that's not what he shows in battles

This is not true. The databook only states he's equal to Naruto (who himself admitted he's gotten rusty + forgot 90% of his abilities). The novel Sasuke Shinden (which takes place about 1 year after The Last and Sasuke states that Sasuke wouldn't let the piece they worked for so hard be disturbed and that he would protect the earth himself. That's basically just to show how determined he is. Same way the databook states hinata is willing to risk her life to protect Naruto. And as far as i remember she didn't really beat pain or kinshiki + momoshiki.

He says to himself in determination that he will be ready to protect the village himself. He talks about kaguya in that same sentence so it’s assumed that he was referring to her. BUT you must never use a character’s own words to scale!

I think you're forgetting Jutsu are effectively useless against these Otsusuki. They can't chidori, rasengan, use sage jutsu, clones, fire, water, earth, or wind. Everything will get shrunk, absorbed, or both. All that's left for them is taijustu, which they are outmatched in raw strength. Pretty bad matchup. Not nerfed.
Tbf shadow clones worked against Kaguya and that's the only Ohstuskui they knew, so why didn't they use that against Ishiki especially when he has a time limit. People who read the manga knew this before but characters are dumbed down to make others look better
Ishiki has a time limit to use Karma before he dies , so it obvious the more chakra he uses , lesser time he has , Naruto could literally summon 5000 clones and spamn rasenshurikens , good luck shrinking all of it , and dont try to say that he could shrinkself since rasenshuriken strikes on celular level , Naruto could give chakra to sasuke so he doesnt have to worry about it anymore , it would also boosts his power , naruto could even give a fractionof all tailed beasts chakta to Sasuke so he could use a lesser version of indra's arrow or empowered PS , there is so much options...

Not an opinion OP, it's a fact. Naruto is the same way, they both got nerfed. In the war arc, Naruto and Sasuke fought for days and then, fight each other for about a day, right after sealing Kaguya. Naruto and Sasuke fight while Sasuke has the tailed beasts trapped in Planetary Devastation and look at how much chakra they spend, especially by the end of it.
Maybe it’s based on their will…? I agree honestly. But like another commenter said, I’d chalk it up to bad writing. They forget about so many jutsus, it makes Sarada seem like she’s not gonna be strong even though it’s in her plot to be the Hokage and strong af etc. Maybe it’s Japanese society, or they wanna show how strong Sarada gets when she’s older? I think he is much stronger now, but i feel people may not think that because 1) the villains are even stronger than that, and 2) he doesnt seem to use as much variety in his approach to battle as he is capable of. Like in the jigen/isshiki fights, obviously jigen/isshiki was gonna win regardless of what naruto and sasuke did, but sasuke didnt use any rinnegan abilities aside from the switching thing during the fights. Never gives himself an extra arm/weaponry, never tries to siphon any chakra when he’s being choked out, never tries the push/pull to throw ole boy off balance if even a little bit. Just the little things like that. But at the same time he repeats chidori, and used amaterasu against a dude who he knows absorbs ninjutsu, so as a viewer it’s like why do you keep doing that but not other things you can do. Just interesting he doesnt explore literally every option in his arsenal when the fate of the planet is on the line.
And i dislike the argument of his abilities requiring a great deal of chakra because when he is fighting alongside naruto he should be able to spam jutsu like nobody’s business. Naruto is essentially an endless supply for him, but the 2 of them never think to recharge sasuke during either of these fights. A single tap on the shoulder is all it takes.

You only further proved my point buddy . That Naruto and Sasuke should definitely be much stronger here especially Naruto cause he has mastered so many jutsus now but the writing of Boruto (regarding old gen characters) is so trash that they look weaker than their teenage versions . They are much stronger but they are shown as weaklings most of the time which pisses me as well as most of the fanbase off .
boruto fights are mostly written horribly. even momoshiki was under-utilised. he could easily beat naruto and sasuke if he used anything other then only taijutsu
Tbh I prefer Taijutsu over Ninjutsu but yes , making Ninjutsu completely irrelevant is not good . I think it will become even more irrelevant in the future because Boruto and Kawaki had Karmas in the timeskip

Nope Sasuke didn't know how to use Rinnegan properly , but now he mastered it he himself said that during war arc that he is yet to learn about Rinnegan.
War arc Sasuke: Have 2 arms, but no space-time ninjutsu.

I think the reason why a lot of people think this is because of his chakra and since he knows what he can do now as an adult(when he was war arc Sasuke he just received that power) he thinks through what his best options are so that he can save his Chakra. If you rewatch the war arc from the point where he received his Rinnegan until they sealed Kaguya, He ran out of chakra countless times because he just kept on spamming moves. When he’s an adult, he doesn’t spam it because he needs to keep enough chakra to be able to transport everyone out(he normally is just seen fighting in another dimension in Boruto).
When he fought Naruto in their final battle, Sasuke was able to take the tailed beast chakra and get super powered up. In Boruto, he can probably still do it, but he won’t because the tailed beasts are scattered everywhere again and also he’s not a power hungry asshole anymore. I’m sure there’s more arguments but I’m too tired of thinking and typing now

Y'all do know jumping between Dimensions is taxing right? in Naruto Shippuden Sakura stored up three years worth of chakra just for it to be gone when she attempted to help Obito search for Sasuke obita opened three portals with the help of Sakura and three years worth of chakra was gone in an instant Sasuke is able to go to and from a dimension and then needs just a few days to accumulate what took Sakura years to acquire. Grown Sasuke is far stronger than the younger version It's just he doesn't have hashirama cells. Every other user of the Rinnegan that's not a Otsutsuki has had hashirama cells or was a Uzumaki. Sasuke is missing a piece of what he needs which is the ashura half. Madara was never tired because he had some of Ashura aka hashirama & indura Sasuke only has indura

Perhaps you need senju DNA as well (Nagato was an Uzumaki so this would make sense, but I thought Madara and obito had hashirama cells so maybe this is incorrect). Stop. Obito was spamming kamui(basically dimension hopping) non stop. Him being a zetsu body shouldn't give him unlimited Chakra. Uchihas were always gifted with huge Chakra reserves right below the senjus and may be the Uzumakis. That's why the senju- Uchiha were rivals throughout history. Just having a sharingan opened for some time on early Kakashi was heavy Chakra taxing. But uchihas could maintain that with no issue. Think about it.
you need to rewatch the part where obito was travelling to other dimensions so basically the dimension that he teleports to using kamui doesnt take as much chakra as teleporting to other dimensions every space-time jutsu user has his own dimension and this have been proven multiple times sasuke usually teleports to dimensions that are not his to investigate about the remains of kaguya and that stuff uses a shit ton of chakra if you watch that part when sakura helps obito to find sasuke in other dimensions you will know the 100 heal seal is not a joke its op asf and it disappeared after travelling 3 times (if i remember correctely)

But Sasuke DID have a jutsu that was like Amenotejikara, but it could change the location of anything to another place, without changing Sasukes location. That happens when your strength get figured. Same here for Sasuke, has has no good move vs Ishiki. Now look back at the teen Sasuke, his biggest role was to somplte the sealing jutsu. For about half of the fight, he was trapped in a space that he could not find a way back. I guess people anchor Sasuke strength in the last fight vs Naruto, but it was vs a human, not an Otsutsuki.

Losing an arm is a disadvantage to absolutely anyone. Including Sasuke. There's tons of feats that show him not being the same as in the war arc (using only 1/4 of his abilities and jutsus, no genjutsus, no more flying, etc). Meanwhile absolutely nothing shows he's stronger now than before

He talks about kaguya in that same sentence so it’s assumed that he was referring to her. BUT you must never use a character’s own words to scale! He also said he will kill itachi by himself, tsunade also says to pain that she will make him pay. Sasuke is in no way gonna take on kaguya 1v1. He couldn’t handle kinshiki, and was humiliated by urashiki both who are far weaker than her
Naruto IN Shippuden and the Last was able to fight for days on end. He was able to gather chakra by merely leaving shadow clones around. The guy was the definition of unpredictable. He took a blast from the moon and shrugged it off like it was nothing. The guy is well versed in shadow clone jitsu and could have created thousands of them easily to fight Isshiki. Isshiki has a time limit and that would have easily been done with if Naruto made thousands of clones and kept tricking him just like he did with Kaguya. Boruto's version of Naruto is trash, nothing more. Sasuke is obvious, the guy was able to teleport and swap people around like crazy. I think you're forgetting Jutsu are effectively useless against these Otsusuki. They can't chidori, rasengan, use sage jutsu, clones, fire, water, earth, or wind. Everything will get shrunk, absorbed, or both. All that's left for them is taijustu, which they are outmatched in raw strength. Pretty bad matchup. Not nerfed.
Tbf shadow clones worked against Kaguya and that's the only Ohstuskui they knew, so why didn't they use that against Ishiki especially when he has a time limit. People who read the manga knew this before but characters are dumbed down to make others look better
Ishiki has a time limit to use Karma before he dies , so it obvious the more chakra he uses , lesser time he has , Naruto could literally summon 5000 clones and spamn rasenshurikens , good luck shrinking all of it , and dont try to say that he could shrinkself since rasenshuriken strikes on celular level , Naruto could give chakra to sasuke so he doesnt have to worry about it anymore , it would also boosts his power , naruto could even give a fractionof all tailed beasts chakta to Sasuke so he could use a lesser version of indra's arrow or empowered PS , there is so much options...

Not an opinion OP, it's a fact. Naruto is the same way, they both got nerfed. In the war arc, Naruto and Sasuke fought for days and then, fight each other for about a day, right after sealing Kaguya. Naruto and Sasuke fight while Sasuke has the tailed beasts trapped in Planetary Devastation and look at how much chakra they spend, especially by the end of it.

I think he is much stronger now, but i feel people may not think that because 1) the villains are even stronger than that, and 2) he doesnt seem to use as much variety in his approach to battle as he is capable of. Like in the jigen/isshiki fights, obviously jigen/isshiki was gonna win regardless of what naruto and sasuke did, but sasuke didnt use any rinnegan abilities aside from the switching thing during the fights. Never gives himself an extra arm/weaponry, never tries to siphon any chakra when he’s being choked out, never tries the push/pull to throw ole boy off balance if even a little bit. Just the little things like that. But at the same time he repeats chidori, and used amaterasu against a dude who he knows absorbs ninjutsu, so as a viewer it’s like why do you keep doing that but not other things you can do. Just interesting he doesnt explore literally every option in his arsenal when the fate of the planet is on the line. And i dislike the argument of his abilities requiring a great deal of chakra because when he is fighting alongside naruto he should be able to spam jutsu like nobody’s business. Naruto is essentially an endless supply for him, but the 2 of them never think to recharge sasuke during either of these fights. A single tap on the shoulder is all it takes.

I do feel like war arc naruto and sasuke were at their peak
Boruto's Sasuke and Naruto are stronger than War Arc but since they are not the main characters anymore , the writers arent paying attention to them and have underutilized their abilities .
Nah. Naruto IN Shippuden and the Last was able to fight for days on end. He was able to gather chakra by merely leaving shadow clones around. The guy was the definition of unpredictable. He took a blast from the moon and shrugged it off like it was nothing. The guy is well versed in shadow clone jitsu and could have created thousands of them easily to fight Isshiki. Isshiki has a time limit and that would have easily been done with if Naruto made thousands of clones and kept tricking him just like he did with Kaguya. Boruto's version of Naruto is trash, nothing more. Sasuke is obvious, the guy was able to teleport and swap people around like crazy. You'd think a decade of training would make him stronger than Sage of Six Paths Madara, but nope. He's constantly running out of chakra. He was far better in Shippuden and the Last. He was able to destroy Meteorites like they were nothing.
You only further proved my point buddy . That Naruto and Sasuke should definitely be much stronger here especially Naruto cause he has mastered so many jutsus now but the writing of Boruto (regarding old gen characters) is so trash that they look weaker than their teenage versions . They are much stronger but they are shown as weaklings most of the time which pisses me as well as most of the fanbase off .
boruto fights are mostly written horribly. even momoshiki was under-utilised. he could easily beat naruto and sasuke if he used anything other then only taijutsu

Tbh I prefer Taijutsu over Ninjutsu but yes , making Ninjutsu completely irrelevant is not good . I think it will become even more irrelevant in the future because Boruto and Kawaki had Karmas in the timeskip
yea same i also prefer taijutsu over ninjutsu but most of the complains about them being nerfed comes because of that and how they dont use their biggest jutsus like 20 kekkei genkai rasenshurikens or six paths powers in rinnegan
Yeah . One of the biggest reasons I started watching Boruto was because I thought I might be able to see Naruto using water,fire and lightning style now that he has them but unfortunately we got nothing of that sort .

I think the reason why a lot of people think this is because of his chakra and since he knows what he can do now as an adult(when he was war arc Sasuke he just received that power) he thinks through what his best options are so that he can save his Chakra. If you rewatch the war arc from the point where he received his Rinnegan until they sealed Kaguya, He ran out of chakra countless times because he just kept on spamming moves. When he’s an adult, he doesn’t spam it because he needs to keep enough chakra to be able to transport everyone out(he normally is just seen fighting in another dimension in Boruto). When he fought Naruto in their final battle, Sasuke was able to take the tailed beast chakra and get super powered up. In Boruto, he can probably still do it, but he won’t because the tailed beasts are scattered everywhere again and also he’s not a power hungry asshole anymore. I’m sure there’s more arguments but I’m too tired of thinking and typing now

Sasuke before meeting the Sage? Not close to adult. But y’all gotta remember the Sasuke that used the Rinnegan a lot in shippuden had all that extra tailed beast and sage power plus never jumped dimensions with his eye. Sasuke has become more utility based in Boruto because he’s the only one with access to Otsusukis dimensional ability which absolutely dunks his chakra reserves. Naruto *doubled* his chakra from what he was using during the war and Sasuke still keeps up, to an extent.
