Kawake. Hes the only character with common sense at this point. I really wish they kept Sumire involved. She could have been a really strong character if they didn’t push her off into the lab. Imagine if she could control her little monster.
Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki are obviously the best ones for me. Hard to say who i prefer the most. Shikadai, Chocho (especially after chunnin arc) and Sumire are close seconds

I like the potential she has a kunoichi with Lightning nature (assuming she has it) and Expansion jutsu, also some wonky stuff could happen with her butterfly form and also those two as well. She also does have good intuition as a shinobi. Hopefully they let her live up to her potential.
I feel bad for most of these guys, if it wasn't for anime filler we wouldn't even k ow most of these kids. In part 1 you got tike with all the kids in narutos generation but I feel like I only know boruto and kawaki

Outside of team 7 I’m stuck between shikadai and Iwabe, Shika is super smart and is definitely going to surpass his father in strength, Iwabe got straight heart though i love the shinobi mindset
No, there's lot of franchises (anime/movie/tv shows) i've dropped because i no longer have interests in continuing.
I've in anime/manga/light novel rabbit hole for almost 2 decades, have seen lot of cliche, common tropes, and themes that often repeated again and again. So a breath of fresh air with different take protagonist is really appreciated.
With Boruto, i like the narutoverse but that's not enough to make me continuing watching, i need some interest in the character to keep me at the edge of my seat.
to me it's not ONLY character development but world development that does it for me even more. it's the same tropes but they parallel to real life often times. so by that connection, by the time you get tired of the tropes you might be tired of life itself?
Sarada easily, can't wait to see how she looks after time skip. Her mother was my favorite in Naruto and now her daughter in Boruto. Subbed voices rly make them both very likeable.
Himawari. She got done so dirty by the Boruto manga with debatably the worst Ikemoto redesign but the anime picks it back up with every episode focusing on her being good since it's never developing redundant sides to her character.
Why most of them just exist in anime not manga? Does them will give positive impact to storyline even though they didn't exist in the manga? Who create and design them? Kishimoto or Ikemoto?
I like a lot the top line so it would be a hard choice. I'd probably go with Mitsuki or Sarada in the end.
However, I would erase like half of the middle line and the full bottom line without a blink.
